After reading many mixed review I decided to pull the trigger. Many negative reviews were on the Lenovo software and a slow HDD. This setup has a SSD so the HDD complaints do not apply. The complains on Lenovo proved to be accurate. So I did a fresh Windows install after formatting the drive. I used the Microsoft free software and flash drive. It's a quick process with the SSD. After installing Win10 the performance was flawless. Most drivers, other than the card reader, installed automatically with Windows Update. One complaint I have happened a few days after receiving he laptop. It was a charging failure. After some time troubleshooting, the problem was determined to be the power cable. Specifically, it was the three pronged power cable that leads to the adapter. Fortunately I had a spare from a previous laptop. I have not reported this issue but I would suspect Lenovo would replace the cable. I would highly recommend this product (after doing a fresh Windows install.)

Greetings. I bought this laptop since I have had a couple of Lenovos on my past jobs. Overall it is a good laptop but I have experienced some faults: 1- Sometimes, since the first day, it is laggy. Sometimes it reacts so slow that it freezes. You cannot expect that a brand new 8 GB RAM, SSD and i5 processor should lag, but yes, it lags frequently while just browsing or even with everything closed but the file explorer. To this date I still don't know why. 2- Graphics Card (integrated) is constantly popping up a message saying that it "Stopped Working". I was reading on the internet and it appears to be a Windows 10 issue with some laptops. 3- Microsoft Edge closes automatically just 2 seconds after launching. Another Windows 10 issue. Was a real pain to fix it since you can't even react nor download other browser, but can be fixed. Needs to enter into the Registry. Other than that, it is a good computer. Good Construction. A little heavy compared to some 2-in-1's and to my previous Lenovo laptops, which cost like 4 times the price of this one so, it's ok. Lenovo, as IBM successors, are one of the best computer brands you can buy at commercial level.

Lighter and smaller than standard 15" size, but more powerful than my Dell. This Lenovo can easily drive my 2560x1440 monitor with its Intel HD 520 through HDMI. Better than my Surface, because the keyboard is permanent. I love it.

I wanted a flexible laptop/tablet to run one trading program and itunes so my kid can watch movies on long road trips. This is perfect for it. However, like everything else, once I had in my hands I decided I would be using it for much more. (confession - I'm a mac user) Every time I touch this, I need to update it (and it's only a few days old?). In car, we needed to update the touch pad driver in order to get tablet mode to work properly. To use HDMI out in the hotel, I needed to update the audio (sound card?) driver to get audio through the television. Final thoughts. You're probably smarter than me and better with computers. If you are, this is likely awesome for you. Good luck!

The Wifi wouldn't stay on. I found out from others that the wifi driver needed to be updated. Works now. All in all, after a week it's working great. JPP...

For the price and specs, you can't beat it. Arrived on time, looks like new. No scratch or chips. After turned on and initial setup, the system updated bios and windows 10 went through several updates. Then came some glitches, the touch screen sometimes unresponsive when open several tabs, and flip the screen into tablet mode, the screen frozen, sleep mode sometimes won't wake up etc. I researched the web and found some solutions. I went Lenovo site to download the latest drivers and installed most of them. Then cleaned up several redundant and misplaced drivers under device managers. Now the computer runs like a champ. Some people recommended fresh reinstall everything, this seems to be the best solution to all. But I'll wait for 30 days warranty expires in case there is any hardware issue the system still close to the original state. All in all, a good purchase but definitely not for novice user. You need some experience with windows drive install and fix at minimum.

I am an attorney, and had been wanting a surface pro, but when this became available at this prince, I went with it. It acts more like a traditional laptop then a tablet, but overall, its features make it very useful. I plan on carrying it with me everywhere once I get the hange of Windows 10

The only way I have found to overcome the driver problem many people have pointed out is to do a clean install of Windows 10. Doing that solved my drivers issues. Other than that it's a superb laptop, though too heavy to use as a mobile laptop, in my opinion.

I would list the cons as it is a little heavy and is limited to the single 8GB memory module. As for pros, it performs nicely with shipped configuration, is easy to setup, is affordable, and works well with Linux. I have it dual booted with Linux Mint 18 and it works nicely with both operating systems.

The first machine I received was returned. After I went through the set-up process, IE would not load any pages. The second machine did the exact same thing - IE will not run/display pages. I loaded Chrome and that browser works fine. My other issue with this machine is that after it sleeps and gets woke up, the touchscreen will not function. I have to reboot the machine to get the touchscreen to work again. I've tried to turn on and off the tablet mode, etc. The ethernet connector is a different size that the standard ethernet cables I have in my house. It is a fast machine, and without the little quirks, it would be given a solid 5 stars. I don't know if the issues I've had are with all Lenovo Flex's or if it's due to the refurbished machine.

Laptop kept on freezing for not reason. I updated all the drivers still same. First time in my life the CTRL+ALT+DEL keys did not work when I tried to kill the web pages. I had to kept on rebooting the laptop when the freeze happened. I do not know why but maybe its the Hardware etc. ?

It is convenient to use un tablet mode or touch. Performance is not bad. However, it is difficult to install windows10 again.

I am very happy with my purchase. The laptop itself is awsome. Way faster than my old laptop im replacing that is 6 years old. I only had issues with microsoft edge not working correctly, but a few updates took care of that. Overall I am 100% satisfied. Adorama is a great place to buy from. I will buy from them again when I find something I need.
