It was very hard to set up. I'm still having issues with putting apps on it that I want. Try to pull up my bank and the website shuts down before I even finish my name. There is so much on here that I don't need or want and it's just been so frustrating sometimes I just have to walk away and leave it for a day or two before I feel like I can try again. This is way over my head. wish I would have stuck with my tablet but it was ready to die .

It has decent specs and good build quality for the price it is at. Great for normal use, but can't handle much more.

It is fast on boot-up and applications. I like the laptop but it does not have the 5GHz Wi-Fi capability.

I have had this computer over a year and it is the most frustrating piece of equipment I've ever owned. When I first brought it home it took about two minutes to come on so I returned it and the store manager did something that made it come on faster. I should've returned it at that point. Now it comes on and then goes dark, I have to jiggle the keys several times and then sometimes it comes back on and sometimes I have to plug it in, even though the battery is charged. I've actually re-formatted it once and that seemed to make it better for a while. I bought it because the Lenovo tablet I have is such a nice little computer but this 14 inch is very frustrating. I have a 10-year-old computer that is more reliable than this.

Actually I have the Lenovo ideapad flex 4-1480 signature edition. After 1 year or so, the screen starts to bring awful colors, sometimes the screen gets all in white. This happens when the screen is on after a couple hours.

I hate the keyboard layout of this thing, and it’s annoying to have wait so long to get past the revolving screen savers at boot up. Plus I’m now getting multiple daily spam messages from Lenovo. Never again

I love this thing! Either using it for work, or unfolding it to let me son watch videos on it, I really couldn’t have found a better, more practical computer. Performs great, small and compact, yet durable! Perfect for me and what I need it for!

The touchpad is very sensitive and taking a bit to get used to but I love the ability to either touch the screen to scroll or use the touchpad/mouse.

I purchased this computer and would not recommend it for the following reasons: 1) The shift key was moved from its traditional position on the keyboard making the 2-in1 laptop less efficient 2) It crashed within the first few weeks when I tried to download a driver for a monitor conversion cable for purposes of using a larger display. 3) The edge is sharp and can be abrasive to the to your wrist area when typing

Works relay well, upload very fast, and battery last for few hours. It's relatively light and thin (more than I expected it to be. Two points that I wish would be better: Keyboard- The top arrow key location is very annoying. It's located between the question key and the left shift key, so I find myself clicking on it all time instead the left shift key. Screen -since it's glossy it's very difficult to work with it outside.

After doing quite a bit of research and comparing pricier machines, I settled on this machine and could not be more pleased. I have used it for over a month and strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a new laptop. I brought my Lenovo Flex 4 from a local store. Regardless of where I purchased the Flex 4, I noted that it would be far less than other popular brands. It came with 8GB , a 1TB hard drive, and Windows 10. The machine is fast, light weight, was easy to setup, and a major upgrade from my old 17.3 inch screen laptop. I like the convenience of the backlit keyboard which makes working in the dark or minimum light easy. My only criticisms concern screen writing and the small SHIFT key on the right side of the keyboard. The Flex 4 is touch screen but it did not come with a stylus. I spoke with someone at Lenovo tech support who said he could not guarantee a stylus would work but had heard of that some customers had been able to successful do so. I plan to buy a stylus made for capacitive touch screen devices but have not done so yet. The smaller SHIFT key requires an adjustment after decades of typing on keyboards with large SHIFT keys. I am definitely pleased with my purchase and have suggested the Flex 4 to friends currently shopping for a new laptop.

I want to make clear that I have bought the flex 5 14" first; I regret for that. Before buying I would make this question to myself first: do I really need a pen stuff? If so, move straight to flex 5. If not, you are in the right place. This laptop does not put you down. Excellent touch response; 1080p resolution; SSD combined with core i5/8Gb memory give to you a fast workstation. I strongly recommend buying the sleeve for it, since the keyboard does not retract to the laptop itself, which gives you a awkward grip. The sleeve from Lenovo is expensive, so buy it elsewhere.

For no reason whatsoever, Lenovo placed the right shift key to the right of the arrow keys, which no other manufacturer does. This non-standard arrangement undermines the ability to touch type. I'm returning it.

I bought this laptop about a month ago and have been pleased so far. The keyboard is comfortable and I really like the backlit feature. The fingerprint scanner works great. I had one several years ago and quit using it because it was so inaccurate. Picture quality is great. It does seem to run a little slow. Not sure why. My internet is very fast. Other than that I have enjoyed it.

I bought mine a few months back at a Office Max that was going out of business. I had never used Lenovo prior to this. This is a solid and smart computer for the price I paid and see myself using it for the foreseeable future.
