I have to confess that after having a total of three prior projectors. This has got to be the best one that I have had. I love the color range. I love how quiet it is. I do enjoy the connectivity that I have with it the fact that I can watch off air TV on it. Although I have one burned out pixel, which is sometimes annoying. I'm sure I can take at least two more years out of it before I upgrade to the next one I truly believe LG makes awesome TVs and projectors. Please keep up the good work.

I bought this projector in November 2021 and it is already falling apart. Writing this on Jan 2025. I use it with my PS5 and it is overheating and turning off with minimal use. The projector also no longer communicates with the remote. I took excellent care of this projector and used it minimally since I bought it (definitely less than 1000 hours of use). I'm overall disappointed by the quality of the build, and of course, the warranty has already expired. With the price of this projector, I expected it to last much longer than this. LG customer service was totally useless and basically referred me to the Best Buy Geek Squad for additional help. I was happy with it until it stopped working.

But customer service quality is year 1990 not 2024. Defective backlight LEDs. After only about 1000 hours everything is blue. Every part of the menu is blue, as well as all sources, apps... everything. It's the backlight. LG BRUSHED ME OFF AND THERE ARE NO PARTS AVAILABLE. IT'S ONLY TWO YEARS OLD. LG is known for using substandard Vestel LEDs in its televisions, which burn out prematurely. Hmm. Time for a new class action against LG? Selling defective projectors with parts that can't be replaced?

DO NOT BUY THIS PROJECTOR. I barely had over 1000 hours on this project after 3 years of use when the LED stop working. it is out of warranty. The repair shop can not find find any parts for this projector. Now, it is a paper weight. The only good feature on this projector was the picture quality when it was working.

I ?ungraded? to this projector for it?s smart feature however after setting up there is no app for you tube tv. Which is what I use for my provider, was told it was coming. That was two years ago. Made the best of it and screen shared from my phone. Now that is not available soooo.. it is basically useless to me. About only plus is it has a good picture in bright lighting. But overall this projector is garbage. Customer support is of no help. Will be last LG product I buy and I love my LG tv?s.. I cannot overstate how much I do not recommend this projector.

I bought this 3 months ago... I am glad i chose this one have great apps complimented by a Magic Remote to pair with. It rivals my 65 inch Oled with the similarity in function, quality performance.

So I have had this projector for almost a year I occasionally used it untill I move to a new house on April and started to use it almost every Day. I love the quality and picture of the projector it really over exceeded my expectations now obviously for best quality it has to be dark I mean have you ever seen a movie at the movies with the light on? Anyways I decided to give it a try on my PS4 on looked great but here come the down side when I started to use the HDR/4k part of the projector after 10 minutes of gaming it started overheating like literally will give you a message that will shut down the projector after a good minute. It's been about 11 days since I sended my projector for service given that its still under warranty and haven't heard a thing about it. I just wanted to add that I was told by the LG representative and technician that the problem my projector have has never been reported before so take it with a grain of salt, it's a great projector totally love it and perhaps I got unlucky and mine was defective. I just hope I can get it back soon.

This product failed right out of the box for me. Image would go dark in the middle of watching a movie while the sound is still coming through. Either I am extremely unlucky or LG has serious quality control issues. This is the second time a brand new LG product failed on me. Previously I had purchased a gaming monitor and within a month's time, there were horizonal and vertical lines going across the screen. Customer service was terrible as well, no communication from them whatsoever, I had to keep calling and following up only to find out there was no replacement parts and was on backorder indefinitely.

Replaced my 720p projector, my wife first impression was wow, this is so clear, I then knew it is money well spend. I like the many connectivity options, the build in TV tuner, and the digital audio out to my receiver. I like the LED light source, supposed to last way longer, and it is still very bright for me with a 120 inch screen size. There is no rainbow effect - there is no spinning color wheel! The only complain I have is the dark scene, the contrast is no good.

This is my first projector, and sofar I am satisfied. Pros - user friendly interface, voice control remote, decent installed/loaded movie apps like - Netflix, Google Play Movies/TV; small/fairly light weight; ample ports to plug aux devices into to enhance projectors abilities more; and this projector is BRIGHT, and does will with some ambient light around and projection to just a blank wall. Cons - You NEED a lot of space to get 100 -140 inch screen, at least 12 -13 feet from a screen or wall; no horizontal keystone so you might have to physically move the projector more to get the best level picture; the lens is not centered so when first set up the projector to center the picture on a screen, it can be challenging as well; SPEAKERS are not great at all, you will want an external speaker source. At the price point offered, and with the easy to understand interface, this is a good starter projector that provides a satisfying cinema experience.

it is decent 4k xpr projector, coming from pf1500 it is quite an upgrade, but it lacks few things in earlier model like horizontal keystone, color handling detailed config, etc. no color wheel so that is good, but no detection if someone stops in between so a negative point there.

The product failed in 2 months, had a worst experience of my time for repair service. It’s been chasing to get a return label, then once the product reached their repair depot it takes 10 tries to reach someone, then say no parts and no update when I will get it back . Imagine a product launched in 2020 has no parts in stock. Constant follow up but no amasser when I will get it back. RNN201203001465

When watching a movie on netflix, it feels as if the images are sped up and the transition between different frames Feels unnatural. Not sure if I can change a setting to fix this.

I bought this projector to replace an LG 4K HDR display for movies at home. I live in an apartment. Without a dedicated theatre room, my first criterion of purchasing a projector is portable and easy set up. This is indeed a very lightweight and compact device. I can mount it on my tripod effortlessly. The Gitzo Systematic tripod provides a geared center column, which can be very precisely adjusted for the exact height. I also have an Arca Swiss D4 geared head, which not only supports any weight, but also has precise adjustments for all the angles. All are perfect for this projector. Basically, I use the projector in the front ceiling configuration. But it saves all the troubles of actual ceiling installation. Additionally, because of its height, the tripod allows me to avoid the ceiling fan, lights, and chair perfectly. There is no keystone adjustment needed. And I sit right in front of the big screen. The projector is perfect for a 90 inch screen after sunset. It has vivid colors on par with my previous LG display. 4K contents are sharp with details. The projector provides LG channels of free TV and movies. I cancelled cable because its contents are similar to the lowest tier of Directv, minus all the commercial channels. After each use, mostly in the weekend, I can quickly put everything away. The entire setup doesn't take much space to store. I'm satisfied and hope to continually use it for years.
