Great Buy
I honestly was just looking for a wireless mouse that included allowed me to scroll, and discovered so much more with the additional 6 buttons. Not only does it reduce the wear of my mouse pad on my laptop, it's compact and efficient.

Good performance. I recommend using it in Bluetooth mode, don’t use the USB adapter that comes with it, Bluetooth will give you a looooong time from one battery.

Pairing with two devices and then switching with a touch of a button is the best feature of this mouse. Great for working from home.

sluggish and inconsistent
Sluggish. There seems to be a gap between when I move the mouse and when the cursor moves. Then, the speed is not predictable...sometimes fast, sometimes slow. I've tried adjusting the speed via Windows control panel settings, but it seems to have little effect.

Nice mouse and sharing system.
The mouse works as described and intended. Direction for setup and install are very weak. Go to website and look for information there if you get it.

It works great as a mouse.
As a mouse it is very good. But it promotes a really great feature that doesn't really perform that well. It will allow you to drag and drop docs from one computer to another...no thumbdrive required. Unfortunately, the lag time in getting the mouse cursor to move from one machine to the other is quite slow...sometimes 30 seconds. When you have the feature turned on, it's easy to accidentally trigger the switch by touching the edge of the screen with the cursor. Then you're stuck waiting for it to finish switching which machine is "active". I never leave it turned on. I only use it when I want to move a doc. And then I have to be careful or otherwise it ends up taking a lot more time than simply using a thumb drive.

Since installing this on my Touch Dell all-in-one computer, it has taken my touch away and we cannot get it back, even after disconnecting the Mouse. It also has disconnects my Bluetooth.
I want to return it, but after staying on line with service (? people for over 1/2 hour and being transferred to 3 people different who were useless, I have taken it off my computer and what ever happened, I still have no touch screen. Can'y get any help from Dell. Great computers, worst in helping solve problems. I want to return it !! When I ordered it on line through a dell person, she told me this was a good one for my computer.

Nice features but stalls out now and then
Good mouse. I like freeing up an extra USB port by using bluetooth. However, it does stall out every now and then. Haven't used it with 2 computers yet.

Instructions for Logitech M585 Mouse optical 7
Only problem I had was the diagram instructions. I did not understand that in order for it to work I had to take the dongle out of the mouse and insert it into the laptop.
I cannot be the only person who does not understand diagrams when they are the instructions given for a device.

It's a mouse
This mouse is larger than what I usually purchase. I have small hands and this one is a bit uncomfortable for me. For me, it's a mouse, nothing special about it. Glad I got it for free with my new computer and didn't pay for it. Those with larger hands might find it okay and want to use it for two monitor set ups.

Bought this to replace an old...... Latitude laptop and to supplement my 2 in 1 that I use for work and trips. This is a great laptop. Fast, crisp screen.
