The Tv after several years is in perfect conditions. but thanks to LG i have to dispose it as trash, just beacause there is no software updates, and now, i can only open Youtube, but the apps are useless. Why i have an smart Tv that is not smart?

Great TV. Never used 3d or Apps. Only problem is TV uses CCFL tubes to light behind the screen. 2 years ago - two of 6 CCFL tubes stopped making light. I made those tubes light up again by using the menu to increase brightness to get the tube to relight. I've repeated this many times and it has been running at 100% brightness for 6 months. The next time the dark zones reappear, this TV gets recycled & I go shopping for another 55".

I bought this TV when 3D was popular and love everything LG makes and sells....not sure I would never need to buy another one bit if the times right, I will most definitely purchase another amazing TV sometime and wouldn't look at any other brand than LG....thank you for the best purchase I have ever made.

Great picture, great features. Easy to use. This model has 3D, which seems to have never caught on, but we have several GREAT movies in 3D and love it, and it can convert 2D to 3D and it's almost as good. I can easily CAST videos to the TV from my PC, which is a nice feature. (We recently bought another brand, and while it's a good TV, I find the LG models easier to use and to access advanced features.)
