Great pack build quality and lots of storage. Lots of photography storage. Zippers are high quality with lots of external mounts for gear. My one major gripe is the shoulder strap buckles don't hold tension well and constantly need to be tightened as they work themselves loose during hiking. Overall solid product.

I've used many Lowpro backpacks that offered camera and personal storage. Each one had significant flaws and the next one promised to be better. I've had the Rover AW, Primus AW, and still have a PhotoSport 300. Each one didnt carry enough photo gear, and had real limitations for personal gear for anything approaching a backcountry day hike, and forget about a winter backcountry dayhike. This bag is the first to have promise. I've looked at all the new bags on the market that target adventure and hiking, such as the F-Stop Tilopa, Shimoda 40/60, and even a backcountry ski pack. This pack offers the most of what I need for a day trip with extra layers and gear to make a trek, while still having enough camera gear to photography grand and intimate landscapes. My previous lowepro bags were always durable, so I expect this to be no different. Offering a more flexible camera box similar to the F-stop sizes would also be great to be able to better customize my load. Also, a lighter weight option (bag is great, camera box with padding is surprisingly heavy) for the camera box would be welcome.
