This is my main bag now. I have my Canon 7d, sigma 150mm-600mm lens, and can still carry a few other lenses and many accessories

My faborite camera backpack, my only complaint is the zippers. I jave gone through 2 of these bags because the zippers dont last, they typically start to tear making it near impossible to open and close all the way. Outside of the it holds a lot! Plus the tripod pouch is awesome and bag works great for flights, fits under every airline seat ive tried.

I recently carried this product around Central America for three weeks. First of all, NO, the Sigma Contemporary 150-600mm does not fit, no matter what you have been told. Secondly and much more serious, the camera with lens mounted goes in the cavernous area at the top of the bag (watch the youtube demonstration). There is nothing but a zipper to hold the camera. Forget to zip it up one time. You better have insurance. The large open area leaves your camera free to roll around like a bb in a beer can. I stuffed towels and tee shirts in there to try and stabilize it. The space is huge for one camera body and even a large lens. If you like watching 3k worth of gear tumbling slow motion toward the concrete sidewalk, buy this bag.

I wanted a bag large enough to carry all my equipment when I travel, and this one serves the purpose nicely. I would not find this fully laden bag comfortable for hiking long distances, but my plan is to remove unwanted equipment selectively after reaching my destination if I want to do some hiking. A prime selling point was the internal storage for my travel tripod, although I wish the tripod compartment sealed up better. The gear dividers in the lower half of the bag worked perfectly for three fairly large zoom lenses, a speedlight and miscellaneous accessories. However, there is no room left for my Nikon D-600 with a 50mm lens, so that has to go in the upper half of the bag. As no dividers at all are provided for the upper chamber, the camera rattles around in there unless I improvise some padding. I'm still trying to work out the best solution for that. Ideally, Manfrotto would provide a bunch of extra dividers to allow more configurations of the bag in general and more efficient use of the upper compartment in particular. I never wanted to carry my laptop computer in the bag, but I was delighted to find I could fit a 32-inch reflector kit in the computer compartment. Overall, I am pleased with the bag.
