Worked great for exactly 3 years. I wonder sometimes if items like this has a built in ticking time bomb to just go after a certain time. Worked well with the Netgear AX5400 Nighthawk. But I'm skeptical wondering if that doesn't go next cause I got that a month later. LOL.

This is a great modem. Buying this modem outright will save you money on your cable bill over time. This modem is a lot faster than the old one I had and can keep up with the speed of modern internet connections. It does not drop the signal and works perfectly. It is easy to set up. I use this modem on Spectrum and it is officially on their compatibility list.

Worst year of my life

Recent upgrade to a Orbi 8 system and our previous modem could not handle it so we installed the netgear 3.1,  modem is super fast and it a perfect match with the new Orbi system.

I bought it at Best Buy.  My old netgear modem wouldn't support my higher speed internet.  This one was easy to set up, but it took Spectrum a little extra time and effort to connect.

The best part of my Netgear Gigabit Cable Modem is the technical support I received over the phone when I encountered problems during installation. The problem ended up not being with the Netgear Modem, rather I needed to contact Xfinity to get the new modem registered on their system.

This is my second one of the same model as my first died after a decade of use. Our home is almost 3000 square feet and we get get excellent signal throughout the house.

Bought after our cable company said the one we had through them was not working. It was going to take two weeks for them to send us a new one! Due to me being a student I needed it asap. Went to Walmart and picked this one up. Plugged it in and set it up. Had no issues! A lot cheaper than the one from the cable/internet company we use too!
