My old case just fell apart after bending the cover back and forth several times. Love this case. Only complaint is have a Zagg InvisibleShield on iPad and on one side the case pushed the shield up to bubbles. Shield has been on a couple of years so maybe it’s time to reapply.

I like the way it folds to hold myIPad for reading and I like that it is a complete hard case that protects my IPad. But, we have Otterbox cases for our IPhones and they fit great, but the case for my new IPad doesn't stay on completely and I'm not strong enough to actually get the lid to close completely. The edges are always popping out.

I got this to replace a leather folio type cover I’d had on my iPad for the last 2 years - which looked cool but the clasp had started to crack from use and it didn’t really let me stand up my iPad at most angles. After some searching and comparing I went with the Midnight Waves version of this for my Air 2 - that color is more on the dark teal than navy spectrum if you’re having trouble telling. The cut is super precise, all the buttons and cutouts line up perfectly. Volume changing (there’s plastic covering over those buttons and the lock is easier than locking the screen but even then locking is not a Herculean effort to do, just gotta make sure you’re square on and over time I’m sure they’ll become equally easy. The clasp also is appropriately claspy, keeps it shut while riding around in my purse but unclips easily if you exert the appropriate angle and force. After about a week of use, I’m loving all the different stand options (tho I probably use the pryamid type most since it’s great for Netflix in bed). It’s also fallen off my bed and whacked some wood frame and come out fine, tbh this was a really great accessory investment for me and I’m loving having a case that’s really functional and looks great.

Wished the case would lock into its different positions better... but that's a luxury... Otterbox products have always proven themselves to stand up to the elements and whatever I've thrown at them... plus their customer service is TOP NOTCH!!!

The closure doesn't work, takes two hands and some serious effort to close the claps, I hate it. I wanted the protection of an Otterbox, but this case stinks.

Like Merlot color easy to id from all those black cases everyone has and I can find it in my bag quickly.Latch is a little stiff but will ease up with wear. Not as heavy as the otterbox . I like the lighter weight..It's pricey but sometimes you get what you pay for. Buy it!

I purchased this case for our brand new iPad and it keeps slipping off on the sides. The sizing is not right. Very disappointed. Other than the fit, I do like the color.

There are 2 things this case doesn't do that my last one did. 1. It doesn't allow for typing on my IPad at a low angle. I have to type with it flat or upright. 2. When I close the case it doesn't automatically turn off the IPad. Otherwise it's nice looking and I do like the fold back feature for taking photos.

the case itself seems good. it fits the ipad securely and offers protection. the design of the over is what i had issues with. when you fold the cover to the back of the ipad, there is a "middle section" that is smaller than the front and rear cover, so the ipad flops around. and the grooves in the stand do not properly hold the ipad up.

Thought was a little pricey but was impressed with quality and material,,,BUT ran into big problem and didn't discover it for about 2 weeks and I had already thrown away packaging, old cover etc. The 2 "buttons" for volume don't come ANYWHERE near actual buttons. Don't usually need to change volume so didn't notice for quite some time. Now when I do change volume I have to remove that entire corner which becomes very inconvenient. They're not just a little off but a lot off target. Won't buy any more products from you.

I use my Air2 mainly for reading magazines, newspapers, and books. I wanted a cover to (a) protect the iPad, (b) add a bit of thickness to make it easier to grasp (and keep me from dropping the iPad), (c) prop it at a comfy angle when I am seated at a desk or table, and (d) add a splash of color (the Mossy Green) so I don't leave it somewhere. The Profile case does all of that perfectly. I have none of the problems with the clasp that others have complained about. I added an inexpensive amFilm screen protector, which does not interfere with the Profile case. Previously I used various keyboard folio cases, mainly Zagg, because I used the iPad as a sort of mini-laptop on trips rather than bring my 13" MacBook Air. I switched to a 12" MacBook, which isn't much bigger than the iPad and has a much nicer keyboard than the folios. Plus the folio was awkward when reading somewhere other than at a desk or table; the keyboard got in the way. So I decided to skip the keyboard and get just a case - and this is great.

I recently purchased this product and I am very pleased with it. The Midnight Merlot color is perfect and the texture makes it simple to keep clean. I love that it is very slim and it makes it easy to carry. It is my second purchase with Otterbox, I have the Strada Series for my iphone 6 and I cannot say enough about it. Love your products. This case is everything I wanted for my iPad. Protective and doesn't make it too bulky. All the buttons work fine and although it's a pain to get the case off I don't see a point to do that often. My only problem is sometimes the built in screen protector makes my finger unrecognizable so I have to press something multiple times. Other than that I love the case and would definitely recommend it.

I bought this product about two weeks ago. It is perfect. Does not add any weight to my iPad and it is very slim. I love the color and texture of the cover. Well worth the cost. I looked at a number of covers but they were to bulky or did not offer the protection that Otterbox products offer. I have had an Otterbox cover on my Kindle Fire for a numbers of years and I have dropped the Kindle numerous times and it is still perfect. Thanks Otterbox.

I love this case. It is durable, and the color (green) is perfect. It was easy to install and the stand works great. The one thing wrong with it is the closure. It will not open or close without tremendous pressure. I thought that after a few times it would work better but the problem remains.
