A great addition to my gear

I have been using this all the time now. It is small enough to take on road trips. And I’m excited to be able to use my strobe soft box in outdoor settings. This has greatly improved my overall photographic abilities.

Nice for smaller spaces.

NICE

Love the deep umbrella allowing bare bulb to fill it in completely. Works as shoot through and bounce to cover 2 areas. soft light through and nice light bounce

Poor quality interior panels

Interior of white umbrella is a sticky vinyl, began peeling away as soon as I attempted to pop open the umbrella. Had to return the product.

Great Parabolic Umbrella

This is my first parabolic umbrella and I am enjoying the results. I have used several light modifiers but this is the largest so far. Even still, there are bigger ones but I wanted this slightly smaller size to photography newborns and children, since I travel on-site. It's still very large and has produced great light and catch lights. I purchased it with the front diffuser.

Great Deep Umbrella

Really well made umbrella. Almost perfectly round with a nice deep profile to avoid spill. The White fabric is very efficient also, similar to the elinchrom umbrella. My only complaint is that it is fairly heavy and I wish the shaft was solid.

About Interfit Photographic Parabolic Umbrella

A small, silver parabolic umbrella that produces a wrapping light with crisp details and defined direction. Interfit's new line of parabolic umbrellas create a unique lighting pattern when compared to traditional photographic umbrellas. The parabolic shape focuses the light into a broad, focused column of light, giving the user more control over the direction of their light and the spill. Moving your flash head closer or farther away from the center of the umbrella gives users the ability to further fine-tune the focus and intensity of the light. 16 fiberglass rods makeup the frame for these umbrellas, providing overall structural rigidity as well flexibility should your light and umbrella fall over.

Silver umbrellas are traditionally used as a main light in high-contrast portraiture such as athletic/hero-style shoots. The highly-reflective material produces a specular light quality that creates stronger definition in shadows. The 41" umbrella lends itself perfectly for individual headshots, close-up portraits and macro photography. This size of umbrella is very popular with speed light setups, as well as those using portable strobes on location.
