Quality Accessories with a Great Camcorder
This bundle is fantastic. My biggest surprise was the quality of the shotgun mic and the tripod. I've bought budget items before and always had trouble getting the quality I wanted at a good price. Can't believe that Adorama just bundles this at such a good price. I researched the camcorder so I basically knew what to expect. The bundle definitely provided all the accessories I would've needed, but might have missed purchasing the first time around. Really happy with the kit and it will make a great budget video production set.

Great videos and stills without expensive lenses and telephoto lenses!
Great camera for high quality home videos and 26 mega pixel stills. Camera is small and easy to hold. You will likely need the VT380 battery for 3 hours plus of battery life. This kit is good but the media reader in it is not so good. Camera stability is very good and night photos are good as well. The neat part is you don't need to invest thousands of dollars in lenses to get good videos and stills. This is not an action camera where you move the camera left, right, up and down quickly. Best to focus this camera on the area where the action is expected to occur. I would rate this camera and the kit at 4.6 although I gave it 5 stars. There is nothing I hate about this camera!

It does the job
I use this for YouTube videos and FaceBook advertising. If you want your images to be displayed on phones and laptops then it gets the job done. If you want a proper cinema camera this is not the one. The build in edits, cinematic effects and all that is as usual crap! This camera is awesome on a Glidecam to grab some action footage as it's light weight and has an excellent stabilizer. That said, don't expect the build in stabilizer to make magic. A proper stabilizer or gimbal is required.
