Essential when travelling. Takes up minimal space in my 45L travel backpack but also can fit into any sling to always have a larger bag ready to pick up groceries, carry snacks, or hold purchases.

I love that Peak design came out with new colors and they have an exclusive New York City Edition for the tote i got myself the blue version . I love that. It's easy to carry on the shoulder. very comfortable. the only problem is had was the pull zipper came undone but it was a easy fix .

Despite the somewhat steep price, which is now at $30, this tote has some nice features including the strong durable materials and zippered closure. The real downside for me, which has had a significant impact for me, is the short hand strap. They call it a shoulder/hand strap, but trust me, this thing functions extremely poorly as a shoulder strap being so short. There is not enough room to use the shoulder strap as a sling if you're carrying things in each hand (e.g., coffee, phone). And if you just have it over one shoulder, it's constantly sliding off. Just a very poor design decision which is not typical of Peak Design. Hopefully, if they do a v2, they can have a longer strap which is adjustable.

My son bought me one of these over 10 years ago and it's still my favorite packable shopping bag. I've even used it as a purse in a pinch since it zips up keeping everything safely inside. I just bought 3 and will be ordering more soon! Makes a great gift! ????

I bought one, and then bought one for my partner because I loved it so much! We used these for 6 months travelling and they are the perfect packable tote. The zip means your stuff doesn't fall out of it. The fabric is sturdy but lightweight so it packs down small. By far the best thing we took with us. We used it for food shopping, transporting clothes and everything in between. I can't recommend a bag more. We had ocean and eclipse and they lasted well (still in great condition) despite constant use over the 6 months.

I've been using it for a year now and it's holding great, very reliable bag. Groceries, litter, and occasional travel use, all I wanted it for works for me. And it's really easy to clean and doesn't hold any odor. Would definitely buy again.

Others have pointed out the relatively small size of the bag, which is smaller than expected from the product advertising. Having said that, it's really convenient to carry round in my backpack and be there to help with shopping on the way home from work. Where it fails for me is in the fact that I ride a bike, and shoulder version slips off and is inconvenient for the legs. If this had a cross-body strap option, and was 50%-100% larger, I'd happily buy again.

I purchased this packable tote assuming the material would maintain a clean appearance even when in use. However, that is not the case at all. The bag becomes heavily wrinkled the moment it is unfolded or carried, and it looks very cheap and worn out. I understand that "packable" items may crease slightly, but this is excessive. The product photos do not reflect how the bag actually looks in real life. I've attached photos to show the condition after simply carrying it. It does not resemble the advertised images. Unfortunately, I regret this purchase and would not recommend it.

I bought two of these to carry bike items (rain gear, water bottle, food and helmet) for a bike and barge trip with my wife. Made it very convenient to carry all of our gear from room to bike and back to the room at the end of the day. My wife also used this tote on the way home as a carry-on for souvenirs. We now use them in our vehicles for the grocery store or farmers market. I like the fact that they are very compact and do not take up much room when traveling or storing in our vehicles. These tote bags are very well made and I think the quality of the materials is excellent. I do wish they were a little bigger.

Love my packable tote, once packed it's smaller than a regular fabric tote, yet unpacked it's big enough for my errands, plus love that I can zip it close and forget about it. It's always with my now, might get multiple ones to put one in each of my bag!

Nice quality, packs reasonably small (but bigger than our Reisenthel packable totes with larger capacity), nice handle that makes comfortable carrying it over the shoulder without sliding down

The packable tote is a great idea, but it's seriously let down by the extremely bad button. It will not stay buttoned closed and it's clear you cut corners on it. New models should have a seriously strong one installed, and not the flimsy, shallow, plastic one you use.

This is a perfected version of the packable tote. The fact that it has a zipper and a lightly padded strap puts it above similar products. The way it folds down and stuffs into the pocket, which flips inside out to snap shut, is quite clever (although it takes a few tries to get the hang of). The fabric seems durable. We own a bunch of Peak Design products already, and the attention to small details here is consistent with the brand. I got the 3-pack which comes with sage, charcoal and raw. All three bags are the same size, however the charcoal bag's pocket is slightly wider, so the overall size when packed is a smidge longer in charcoal than the other two colors. This is a negligible issue, but if that matters to you, take note.

This is a great bag. I have to admit when I first opened it, I thought it laughably small. However, after a few weeks of use I think it's pretty near perfect. I went back and bought two more colors to give as a gift. The zipper is terrific and the strap is the perfect length for me (I'm 5'7"): goes over my shoulder well but can also be carried in my hand without dragging on the ground. I suspect if you're 5'6" or less this might be an issue for you. Overall, I'm very impressed!

I've had this bag for few years and it's still my favorite foldable tote bag. I use it for shopping, beach, even as a handbag when traveling. It still looks great. No tears or loose threads. The zipper closure makes it secure.

use this all the time as I carry it in my everyday bag and its great for small amounts of anything, and then on the bus will not spill, is a manageable size, can go on my shoulder or in my hand. Pretty tough material.

I redeemed this as part of a deal on purchasing other Peak Design products, and I'm so glad I did. The packable tote has become my new go-to in terms of totes. Although not the most attractive piece in my opinion, it gets the job done.

This is the lightweight tote you want for any use. I use this bag everyday. Just throw things in there and go. Perfect quick grocery bag. Perfect bag to carry to the park with kiddos. Materials are durable and easy to clean light stains.

Use it for everything. Sports gear, groceries, dirty clothes on a weekend trip, or as a snack bag for road trips. Its durable and small enough to always have in your bag/backpack/car. Really love that it can be closed with a zipper. Most other packable grocery bags dont have a zipper. Have gifted this to others and they also love it.

I used the packable tote on a trip to Ireland last spring. It worked great for the "extras" we picked up along the way. Light and easy to carry. And exceptionally easy to pack. The zipper closer is brilliant
