I ordered this strap the other day. Delivery was fast, but when I unpacked the package, it turned out that the strap had already been used. It showed signs of wear and tear, and it didn't arrive in its original brand packaging-just in a plain cellophane bag. Terrible service. I do not recommend it. I have requested a refund.

I own 5 PD Slide Lite Straps & love all of them. I'm curious to try the new leather straps or the rope ones, but love my Slide Lite straps so much. I wish they had edgier designs similar to punk guitar/bass straps. My next purchase from PD is about to be a Tripod & Backpack although I own 3 $800-1600 tripods I'd love to try theirs since their attachment mechanism seems easier & faster to setup! I own a LowePro backpack & a Pelican case, but from the looks of these PD backpacks they look more luxe & better for my expensive gear. I need one specifically for my super expensive camera bodies & lenses, so I'm gonna give the backpack a go first!

I bought this a month ago, after using the strap provided with my canon, the difference it makes is huge. Not only does it give you extra access points for your camera the colors really pop.

Ive had this for over a year at the time of the review. Best strap I have ever bought. Its extremely comfortable, even when I have my Nikon 200-500 f5.6. Extremely well built too, I consistently wear this all the time and absolutely no issues at all with sliding or attaching.

A perfect all-around camera strap. Not much to add. I used a Slide in the past, and the extra padding is nice and probably worth it if you are using a heavy lens, but the extra space it takes up in a backpack wasn't worth it to me with a Canon R5 and smaller lenses, so the Slide Lite is perfect.

Spouse bought for me as an early Christmas gift. I really like the build quality and the customization features. The quick connect/disconnect is great too since I frequently shoot on tripod or using a cuff strap. It's been great to have a neck strap that's so simple to adjust the length of since I like to alter how I carry the camera based on where I am and what I'm shooting.

This was my first purchase of a Peak Design product. After reading numerous reviews I made the decision to purchase a couple of camera straps. So far they meet and exceed all my expectations. They are made from quality materials that look great. Everything works perfectly. My satisfaction with this purchase was a 10 out of 10. I will definitely look into buying more Peak Design products and recommend them to anyone looking for quality well made products.

Very good camera strap. One side is slightly grippy, if that's desired, and it is just as easily adjustable as advertised. The colour is just as in the pictures, just a tad shinier, looks good. It feels like the width is more than enough for (not-)intense hikes with a MILC + cage + zoom lens combo.

I will start with the good. The strap looks great and the materials feel like they are premium. Now, to the bad. Unfortunately, the strap seems to have massive flaw. Whenever I pick up my camera to take pictures and have it raised for even a bit of time, the extra slack in the strap seems to find its way into and through the d-ring (I think that is what it's called) that is nearest to the camera and where the strap meets the anchor mount. Then, after the slack has passed through the d-ring, when you bring the camera back down, the slack pulls down and through the d-ring that you use to adjust the length. As a result, the mere process of lifting the camera up to take pictures and then bringing it back down can completely change the length of the strap, making it longer. Especially given how much the strap costs, this is quite a disappointment.

I bought this strap last year and have been using it regularly for the past 12 months. The good thing about the strap is that it is comfortable on my shoulder and the strap itself is made of durable material. The two things that make me wish I had bought something different are: (1) The finish on the back of the anchor link deteriorates quickly in hot climates. I photograph frequently in hot, humid locations, and my sweat coupled with the climate itself has caused the anchor link to rust. The finish is just not up to the task, even when kept clean. (2) the much touted anchor link system is way to bulky and is constantly getting in the way when I bring my camera up to take a shot. I have to pre-position the anchor link in my grip on the camera when I am walking and holding the camera so that when I bring it up to shoot the anchor link doesn't get in the way. This is particularly annoying when shooting in portrait orientation. I have found that for my documentary photography and street portrait work I don't really need to be switching straps, so the benefits of the anchor system are far outweighed by the cons outlined above.

I appreciate that it can be stored more compactly than a slide, but I'm not happy with the fact that the strap at the anchor attachment point is large and forms a loop.

I use the Slide Lite with my Sony a6400, it's a perfect match. The strap is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. The quick release is a gamechanger for me.

I didn't realize how much I needed this strap. Switching to the Slide Lite from my camera's factory strap was a game changer in not only the ease of accessibility, but also just the way it felt to carry. The slide feature and the easy click adjustments should be a standard for every camera owner. Wish I had heard about this product sooner... I'm a Slide Lite loyalist now!

As others have mentioned, the strap material is too bulky and gets in the way of the camera controls. Maybe a keeper like on a belt or watch strap would keep the two layers together to be less bulky.

I have the Slide and found it a bit large and only suitable when using heavy lenses - for everything else, the Slide Lite fills that need. It's more comfortable and is easier to pack for everyday carry.

Peak design ¡es la bomba! I hate straps and strings and things making sound or wiggling. I combined SLIDE LITE + CAPTURE so I can adjust the strap slung across my chest, and snap off the camera from capture. One twist to RELEASE & you're free! I called once to see if the Peak team had something already, but then it occurred to me & I dig it!
