Very high quality part. Purchased mainly for the strap connection at each end. Part was just as described. Item was lost in the mail but a quick phone call to Adorama customer service solved the problem with super speed and efficiently. We had a replacement part the very next day ! Excellent folks to do business with.

This universal plate is exactly what I needed! For years I've been using Arca-Swiss plates specifically designed for my cameras with an ADDITIONAL 1/4" x 20 threaded hole so that I could attach a shoulder strap. I just purchased a Panasonic G9 and I could not find anyone who manufactured an Arca-Swiss plate for this camera. I have a portrait studio and although I generally shoot from a tripod, sometimes I want to shoot using my camera strap affixed to the 1/4" x 20 threaded hole. With this plate I can keep it attached to the camera body for tripod work and still have the convenience of doing off tripod work by simply screwing the bolt from the strap into the threaded hole in the plate. Oh, and the rubber pieces on the bottom of the plate compress to make a very tight connection to the camera body. Kudos to Pro Media gear!

This is a well made plate with "side-shift" adjustment, which most plates lack. The Overview description denoting removable Strap-loops is erroneous; as the loops on this model are integral to the machined plat. The PBX3, PX3R, & PX3B plates do have removable loops.
