Well worth the sale price!
Beautiful lenses, great build quality, workable autofocus for an unreal price. This is the bargain of the year. If you're like me and want a Sony body but can't afford the lenses these are for you.
Great combo without breaking the bank.
Great combo. The 35 is a newer lens design and certainly more refined in behavior than the 50, but both are sharp and render nicely IMO. The only real drawback is that the 50’s AF is a bit noisy and slower relative to newer nearly instantaneously focusing models. It’s not bad, just similar to the micro motor Canon lenses of years past like the EF-Mount 50 1.8 and 1.4 lenses. The Rokinon 35mm f/1.4 Wide Angle Lens gives you an approximately 43deg. view when used with an APS-C camera, or 63.1deg. when used with a full-frame camera-excellent for general photography and portraits. With hybrid aspherical lenses and multi-layer coating, you will produce sharply defined images with a minimum of flare and ghosting. The 35mm lens focuses as close as 1' (30.48 cm) from the lens and has a removable petal lens hood.
