Excellent customer service response

My first lens arrived broken. Customer service had me a new lens literally *one* day later (and I'm in California) so I could stay on schedule for my shoot. They did not charge me for the rush or return shipping. It doesn't get any better than that.

Lens replacement

I had a little bit of a problem with a 35mm I purchased through Adorama. I sent back the lens and they promptly sent me back a brand new lens in perfect working condition. Communication with them was great. Sent the new lens back in double time. I have purchased other items from Adorama in the past and it has always been a pleasant experience. I will continue doing business with them in the future.

Lens is good for price, focus breathing is an issue

Overall a very good build and image quality. The focus ring is much smoother then my 50mm of the same make, and it is just as sharp. My one complaint is that the focus breathing is off the charts, although that’s hardly enough to condem it at this price point. I expect to use this for years in the future.

Great purchasing experience

I had a great experience returning my lens, as well as repurchasing a lens from Adorama. I had tried this lens a few times before deciding that it wasn’t for me, and wanted to exchange it for another one. The process was easy. I had originally paid with a gift card and my credit card. They refunded my credit card within a few days of the return arriving at their facility, and I was able to use that gift card to go toward the new lens I wanted instead. I contacted customer service to be sure that I could still use my gift card on a different lens and also just wanted to make sure I had properly exchanged my lens in order to receive this new lens. Bryan M. was able to clarify my order for me and make sure I had my new lens ordered and on the way. Was a little nervous this whole exchanging process would be complicated but I’m glad it all worked out!

I love this lens. Just used it for a shoot over the weekend. It gave me what I was looking for.

The Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Canon EF with geared, manual focus and aperture control rings, is optimized for digital cinematography. The aperture ring has been "de-clicked" for smooth iris pulls and depth of field markings provide an essential aid to focus pullers. Optically, this lens is identical to the Rokinon 35mm f/1.4, which is known for its excellent sharpness and contrast.

Hybrid aspherical lenses and multi-layer coating produce sharply defined images with a minimum of flare and ghosting. There is slight vignetting at T1.5 on a full-frame sensor but it is nearly gone by T2.0 and APS-C or MFT sensors will probably never see it. The 35mm lens focuses as close as 12" (30.48 cm) from the lens.
