Hard drives are not too exciting so it is hard to say much. I purchased two and they arrived well packaged. I had previously purchased two from B&H but they arrived in nothing more than a static bag and the bubble wrap had not been inflated. So, those were DOA and returned. Better than WD
Best drive at this capacity and price point. I purchased this drive after several from it's competitor, WD had failed... and then failed again.
