My girlfriend is a singer in a band, the two lead singers use wireless Sennheiser microphones but the keyboardist and sax player prefer wired microphones. We had problem ordering because cables include in package were discontinued but the microphones are excellent - used exclusively in live performances in a noisy bar. They do a good job of ignoring background noise while being excellent to pick up the singing.
