Being an owner of this and a Peak Design branded one, I can say without a doubt, this is by far the best Hand Strap on the market. It is always where you left it and ready for your hand to slide right into place on the camera grip. It is extremely sturdy and gives you confidence that your camera is going o stay where you want it to stay until you want to release it. It is also easy to adjust. The only con is installing it on the top ring but I see that they have fixed that on later models. Great product!

SpiderPro hand strap is more convenient for me to use than a neck strap. You don't get the pull on your neck after longs shoots.. It's VERY comfortable in hand and stable. Any adjustments that need to be made are easy to do... set up in just a few minutes.

I have used Spider almost from their inception and have never been disappointed. I am currently using both the original hand strap and the SpiderPro. Love them!

Great feeling of secure grip. Confortable and lovely inner padding. The wrist strap is perfect for active shooting. As a beginner it allows me to concentrate on the camera settings rather than dropping it.

Can this be used on the left side if you are left handed?

This is the best hand strap that I've ever used. It is comfortable and gets the job done perfectly.

I purchased this hand strap for the use with Nikon D800. At first glance, this product is well built and packages nicely. However, it starts to disappoint after that. The biggest issue it has is the handstrap head (a hard piece of back plastic). The handstrap head must be inserted into the camera slot (the slot that the regular camera strap would normally attach to the camera). It is very difficult inserting the handstrap head into the camera slot. The insertion is so difficult that I had a bruise on my finger trying to push the head into the camera slot. Once the head is inserted into the slot, there is a 1/3 inch of hard plastic sticking out next to the top display and it would cut my thumb just through normal usage. I've also tried the second way of installing the handstrap head (there are 2 ways) and there is still a 1/4 inch hard plastic sticking out where my thumb would hit it on a regular basis. Other than having a bleeding thumb, it's sturdy and well made.

This is my first use a SpiderPro product. I am impressed. The hand strap is durably constructed and easy to install. It will easily mount to either a Canon or NIkon type mount. The base mounting can be installed its own tripod mounting hardware or mounted under a quick mount plate. I was worried that the mounting strap would be too thick to fit under the plate, but it was thin enough and yet strong enough to support the weight of the camera and lens. The “S’ design of the hand strap makes it very comfortable to use, which is adjustable.

I have always used the neck strap as a wrist strap with some success and it offered sufficient support to allow my grip to ease somewhat on the camera on long photojournalism shoots. The spider hand strap is a welcome upgrade. More comfortable and easier to access that wrapping the neck strap several times around my wrist. Coupled with the Spider holster they are the perfect combination for fast work that gives me a secure connection with he camera but allows me the option to go hands-free when I need to take a break or move equipment.

With my camera on the neck strap, the weight was causing nerve problems in my shoulder. The Spider Hand Strap is one of the best purchase I've made. My shoulder has healed, and I feel so secure with my camera in my hand. The strap even helps keep my wrist stabilized when I'm holding my camera, even after steady shooting for nearly 4 hours. I have already recommended the hand strap for another friend who has shoulder problems

I am a small woman, this strap adjusts down perfectly for my hand. I love this strap! I use it along with the SpideHolster and will never go back to carrying my camera around my neck! It is so comfortable, no more neck and shoulder pain!

The strap itself seems to be made well. Feels like it would be comfortable. However, after many many years holding a camera, I would have to adjust everything about how I control my camera in order to keep this strap on. It is very comfortable and sturdy as long as I am just holding the camera. But in order for my hand to be able to reach the controls that I need to on a regular basis, I have to make special efforts. I cannot seamlessly access what I need to, incuuding some basic controls. I was probably hoping for too much. I wanted to make carrying my camera easier with one hand. And it will do that, as long as I never change anything. ( which never happens for me)

I have medium size hands and this was way to small for me. I needed about another inch at least on the length of the strap. I have several different hand straps and this is the only one that I couldn' t get to fit. Also since you have to remove the eyelet from your camera first, it is a big deal to first remove and then re-assemble, which is the only way to test the fit. I was very disappointed. To be clear, it would be OK just to carry it, but with the short strap and unusual curve, there was no way for my fingers to reach to the top of the camera to take a picture.

I bought the strap with the holster. They work great together. Both feel secure and comfortable.

I just installed the SpiderPro hand strap to my Nikon D610 and I love it. The SpiderPro hand strap makes a ton of difference on how I shoot now. It has made me more confident on my grip when shooting outdoors, specially at the beach. The SpiderPro hand strap is very comfortable and super easy to install. I have already recommended it to all of my photography friends. I like it so much that I am ordering a second one for my backup camera. I do also recommend the Spider belt clip. They are just great products that will make your live and shooting easier.

It's great at keeping the camera in your hand, but what it's not is adjustable. Once on your camera and in position, you're locked in. It's well designed & thought out and is absolutely reliable. It would be 5 Stars in my book if it were a bit more comfortable or slight more adjustable in the hand.

This is the simply the best and most useful hand strap on the market imo. You get what you pay for, it's well made and it's worth every penny. Combined with the SpiderHolster it is the easiest, most secure and comfortable camera carrying system. I've tried many different straps and camera holders over the years.... and Spider rules!

I can't stand wearing a a strap around my neck or across my chest . in combination with the Spider holster this hand strap solves the problem perfectly.

Bought it on the recommendation of a friend & am very happy with it. I know it's probably impossible but wish you didn't have to abandon the use of a neck strap (by the installation of the spider strap through the eyelet where a strap would go)

This is a great hand strap. I don't like to use the neck straps for my cameras. I either use a sling or hand strap. The spider hand strap can be used with the connection to my sling strap and make it very manageable to swap out either strap when necessary.

I shopped around until I finally found the Spider-Pro. It is made from the finest material and is so comfortable for your hand. It is pricey, but well worth it. I highly recommend the purchase.

This is really comfortable. I've used other hand straps for years and never really liked them. This is easy to attach and retains its shape. This is a great combo with the Spider Holster belt.

I have tried other hand straps and this one is the best so far. I had an injured finger in the past and started using hand straps and continued because of the support. The SpiderPro is most supportive in a tight configuration, but loosening a bit still gives better support than others and better ability to use camera controls. It is flexibly enough to fit in camera bags. I like it and will buy another now for my other body.

Never miss another photo struggling with a floppy wrist strap, try the SpiderPro Hand Strap and experience real comfort and security while shooting. The unique design works with DSLR cameras with or without a battery grip. Attached to the strap lug and the tripod connection, the hand strap can be attached with Spider Plates, tripod quick release plates or the included hardware. The strap's curved S-shape and optional wrist strap make your camera feel almost as though it was an extension of your arm. The ergonomic shape is designed to allow easy access to the battery door and memory card slots. While it is optional, the wrist strap provides additional support and security. The foam padding and leather construction provide both comfort and optimal hand positioning for manipulating camera controls. In addition, with repeated use, the leather and padding will conform to your hand for a custom fit and all day comfort.
