Lasting quality
My boyfriend had this exact backpack for years and it lasted through hiking trips and countless work trips and flights with his laptop. For the better part of a decade at least. The straps finally broke, so I bought him another for his birthday and he was surprised and pleased ::) well worth the expense!!

What are people using this backpack for?
I've had this backpack since July 2017 and have had absolutely no issues with it. I used to have a consulting job so this backpack flew everywhere with me for almost 3 years...under seats or in overhead storage. So easy to check through TSA (do not have to remove laptop from backpack...just unzip and lay flat). There is definitely some scuff marks on it, but all zippers, velcro, compartments, straps, etc. work as good as new (see pics). I have basically carried it with me every work day for 4+ years and it's just as useful today as it was the first day. It also looks nice, as I have received multiple complements about it. If your backpack is falling apart, I have no idea what kinds of situations you are putting it through. Or maybe I just got a good one. No clue.

Poorly made
Bottom ripped out with minimal use under 3 months. Had to buy another bag not Samsonite. Product is not made for the price charged. No warranty provided.
Not happy would not recommend.

Hoping this one is fine for a few years
Third one I've bought - first one stated falling apart after about 3 months, no reply from customer service when I called and emailed. Second one lasted about 2 years before a dog chewed the plastic buckles that secure the arm straps. Hoping this one makes it at least 3 years. It's one of the only laptop backpacks that holds my laptop, iPad and other work things.

My Second one in 3 yrs.
We picked this up for our son during his Junior year in high school. At first it seemed great but we had a problem with the laptop zipper and he is a rightie so the left strap deteriorated quickly. We replaced it around Christmas is Senior year but it didn't last through his freshman year at college.

Stylish Perfect Fit backpack
Use the bag for office, using it to carry laptop and other mobile devices - fits perfectly.

Stitching Failure..Loved it up until then...
Use this daily...was great until seam at top of bag started to fail. No way of fixing.
This was NOT a cheap bag to have this fail so soon after purchasing.

Great bag
Purchased a previous generation about 10 years ago and used it everyday. I finally worn out. The last generation is a great bag to but not as big is why I gave it a 4 star.

I use this for my work bag. I get everything in it I need and my lunch bag. get a lot of looks and questions. everyone want to look inside . Its and eye grabber. well made and fits my 17" laptop. can't go wrong with this one it a looker.

I would recommend it for larger framed customers.
I bought this backpack to be used for work and travel. It was too big and bulky so I returned it. It is 17" so I do not want to give it a terrible rating but I am 5'3" and it was too long and wide for my frame. It appeared to be well made and I liked the red accent color to make it stand out from all the others.
