I love this Camcorder
I've been a fan of Sony cameras for a a few years now, so when I purchased this camcorder I already knew I was getting a quality product. Excellent Product
I purchase my camcorder in June 2009. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I have used this camera for recording many events in my life and it’s great. So far I recorded a friend wedding and reception. I lend the camera to my friend who took it with him on his honeymoon to Puerto Rico for 10 days. The Sony DCR-SR67 Handycam Camcorder has a built-in 80GB hard disk drive (HDD) which offers extended, hassle-free recording while a professional-quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens delivers sharp, high-resolution images and a powerful 60x optical zoom. You can record directly to the HDD or to optional Memory Stick Duo media thanks to integrated hybrid technology.
There's also a vibrant 2.7" touch panel display (measured diagonally) which rotates up to 270 degrees for multiple viewing angles. You'll also enjoy peace of mind with HDD Smart Protection which prevents any recorded video and images from being lost if the camcorder is accidentally dropped. Hybrid recording technology lets you record video directly to either the 80GB hard disk drive or removable Memory Stick PRO Duo media (sold separately).
You can even select from various dubbing functions to easily copy video or still images from the HDD to the Memory Stick media-without using a PC. This camcorder supports a direct connection with the VRD-P1 DVDirect DVD burner (sold separately), which allows you to burn DVDs directly from your camcorder without the need for a PC. And because the VRD-P1 is powered by your camcorder, you don't need an additional AC power cable. Capture audio the way it's heard in real life-from all around you.
This camcorder supports 5.1 channels of surround sound so that playback on your home theater will sound as realistic as possible. The built-in zoom mic records the audio of your faraway subject as you zoom in on them.
