Sony's earbuds have great tech and sound. Noise canceling is better than pretty much anything else. Sound is fantastic. Not too much bass and balanced overall. Fit is comfortable and fairly secure for walking and general movement. I would not advise for exercise. Battery life while batteries is about average for the amount I use them. They are not too short lived but a day of working and listening to movies, music and calls will require charging at least daily if not twice per day. Not very friendly to switch between devices on the earbuds. Long term battery life of the case and headphones is disappointing for the price point. Did not like the software that is paired with the product.

I bought these earbuds a couple years ago because I needed noise canceling no block out somebody screaming like crazy right in front of my face and it works they are great.

My first try with Bluetooth headphones and these are fantastic. The sound quality superb, I fell immersed in the music that I am listening too. When using it for phone, the quality is crops and clear. But the main reason I chose these headphones is the shape of the ear piece, it?s a soft gently fit which looks smart too. Highly recommended

First off, the noise cancelling works great. The ambient noise works very well?. if you aren?t listening to any type of audio. If you listen to anything, even talk radio, with any amount of volume, then it just becomes moot selling feature. If you are simply wearing the headphones for phone calls, then the ambient noise works great between calls. Speaking of wearing them, they are near impossible to keep in my ears regardless of the set up. I?ve tried all three sizes of silicone tips with both sets of wings. The only way that I can get them to stay in, is if I clean my ear canals and the silicone tips with rubbing alcohol prior to putting them in. But alas, if I?m not sedentary while wearing them, they begin to slip and eventually fall out. I?ve worn them while walking, running (treadmill and freestyle), biking, and while mowing the lawn. As soon as a teeny bit of sweat begins to get past the tips, you may as well cancel christmas, because they?re coming out. After that it?s completely impossible to put them back in. Perhaps some longer foam type tips would work a bit better for me. I work on airplanes every day and wear foam earplugs that I roll between my fingers and put them in until I can feel them in my throat, they never fall out, and they expand to give me a custom fit every time. The sound is amazing from these headphones. The bass is very good. The touch controls work very well once you learn the difference between the long press, single press and double press. Sometimes I get confused what I have set for each function and end up trying to do a voice search instead of turning the volume up. I wear them less and less due to the falling out issue, which is why I quickly forget my touch settings. I keep using them because the sound is amazing, but as soon as they start to fall out, I get aggravated and store them back in their charging dock. Sometimes with the priority on sound setting there is some crackling, but as long as I keep my audio device close by in an arm band or on my bike handlebars etc. the connection remains mostly stable. If I keep my audio device in my pocket, I can immediately tell that I need to change the settings to priority on connection, which is a bit annoying, considering I don?t always open the headphone app to use the headphones. Once they are connected to the audio device through the app, there is no need to open the app after that (except if you want to change settings). This is a love hate relationship right now, until I can figure out how to keep them in my ears. I can confirm personally, that they definitely work with android devices and Apple devices. I love the Target exclusive colors as well, I got the white ones!

I initally bought a pair if these as a 1st time Sony earbud buyer rhinking "Why not give it a try". I primarily use them for calls more than music. Love them!! I ended up dropping the case a time or 2 so then when i would take a call tne caller would come through very distorted & static-y. I then waa on a road trip & EVERONE I spoke to as i was on the road said they could hardly hear me but heard a crackling sound. I attributed this to my butterfingers & dropping case so when i reached my destination I purchased ANOTHER set (2 week return option had lapses). THE ISSUE REMAINS- CALL ANSWER INCOMING CALLER IS DISTORTED. I have to toggle the bluetooth on & off to get normalcy... UMMM SONY PLEASE EXPLAIN! PHONE IS A SAMSUNG GALAXY S20+5G

Sony is lying. There is no noise cancellation on these headphones. I wasted 30 mins changing the configuration of the hooks and the ear tips to see if that helps. Nothing! Sony should refund everyone's money a fix it through a firmware update. Also, it kept dropping the music from a right bud. It was fixed after they were re-initialized, and the settings in the app changed to prioritize the connection. The music quality was really good, but I was excited about the ANC, which was a dud. I would recommend those who value ANC to look elsewhere. Very disappointed in Sony for marketing these as noise canceling.

I finally had a chance to thoroughly test this earbuds in various settings and aspects of my lifestyle. I’m no stranger to Sony’s audio products as I first was introduced to their noise canceling audio devices with the WH1000XM2s. Those were quickly replaced with the XM3s and then this week to the XM4s. As much as I love headphones, I find them limiting in use since sometimes you can’t always wear headphones. Thankfully Sony answered the call to this dilemma with the WF1000XM3s last year! These were a bit cumbersome to securely fit in your ears and not worry about losing them even when just walking! I found the noise canceling on part with the headphones which really blew me away! However I had far to many moments of losing these since they barely sat right in my ears. They were also not moisture resistant which meant a no go for the gym! Thankfully, Sony once again answered the call with the WF-SP800N and I was given an opportunity to test these units at a marginalized cost to my wallet! I found the SF800Ns to be a bit more bass heavy compared to the WFs, however you were able to remedy that issue with the equalizer on most devices! I thoroughly enjoyed the various options Sony provided to secure these in your ears and not once did I experience potential dread at having lost or misplaced one or even both earbuds during active moments! They also had no issues of becoming wet during intense workouts at the local crossfit gym which is also reassuring! Sadly I found the active noise canceling a bit too lacking when compared to the WFs and attempts to fine tune it amounted to nothing. I also heard complaints from clients during phone calls that I sounded muffled when using the microphone on these earbuds. I think the SP800N have a place in the Sony line up of noise canceling devices however what one gains in water/sweat resistance becomes muddled with the mediocre noise canceling and muddled soundstage of the earbuds. However, it is a learning process for Sony, much like other brands, and I’m sure they will release a new revision next year that will answer all the shortcomings of this model!

I purchased the WF-SP800N/ LM last week excited about the 360 Reality Audio. But upon getting it and downloading the app to my phone, it's not letting me Optimize Confirm the 360 Reality Audio in the app. It keeps asking me to confirm but won't confirm when I hit confirm. Also when I use the Sony Access Code provided, the resulting Tidal Voucher comes back invalid. Heck I just registered my the earbuds with Sony, after which I was prompted to create an account with Sony - and even this sign-up process doesn't work. At this point, I'm ready to return the product and get my money back. Sony, you can't advertise a feature on a product only for that feature to not work or come with "a million" nebular caveats. That is false advertising. and thereby use the 360 Audio function,

I have had the SP700Ns for a handful of years now. Loved everything about them except the battery life. Not only has the battery been improved by 6x, but they have lightened the weight of buds and vastly improved on what was an already excellent sound presentation. The touch controls are massively helpful. Noise cancellation seems to have stepped up a notch as well. Even the charging case is more durable and substantial the 700Ns. Can't say enough about how pleased I am with this purchase.

They feel so good in the ear almost as if there not there because they won’t fall out . Did I fail to mention that there water proof .Sony definitely outdid themselves with this product, Bluetooth connectivity is a breeze ,literally connects in seconds just by removing them out of the case .The battery life , not only can you enjoy your music for hours , That’s not the best part , by simply placing them back into case they recharge themselves wirelessly .I will highly recommend purchasing if you were on the fence about it .

These earbuds have an amazing quality sound! With the noise cancelling feature on, I could not hear my kids yelling at one another in the background; which is amazing since that has never happened before. The quality is not like most headphones where the sounds seems far away. With these headphones, it’s almost like a personal concert just for you! The earbuds do come with other sizes in the box, this was a concern for me since I have very small ears. The only aspect I didn’t truly love with this product, would be the charging apparatus. It lights up red when it’s charging, but when you close the lid only the case is lit up, and then seconds later nothing is illuminated. The product seems to be true to the battery life description, but it is hard to tell since I do use them for 9 hours at a time. I have not tested the water resistance feature yet. The product seems to keep most dust from sticking to it, but I can always see a very light film which is to be expected and is not a deal breaker. This is overall a great product!

What a great tire wireless headphone! These are amazing...the sound quality is fantastic and I absolutely love the active noise cancellation. The control of the headphones is so easy! You can customize the touches to do what is important to you...they fit so nice too, great for working out, running or just needing to have your phone in your ear...yes you can use just 1 if wanted! What a huge plus that was to me! The battery is amazing...using them daily I'm lucky to charge my case more than 1 time per month! What a fantastic job by Sony!

This device has blown me away with the actual quality,sound,easy to use menu. when installing the sony app on your phone theres options you can choose for your theres noise canceling,play back and forward button and so much more I preferably like the noise canceling option I have a very loud and active house . I have successfully completed the water test and the buds passed. I love this device so much that I cant put it down and only when its charged .

These are awesome to use at the gym. I have a very hard time of staying focused and finishing my workout at the jam because I'm so distracted by everything in everyone around me. These noise cancelling headphones really allow me to get into the zone and focus on what I need to do Most which is working out. They feel quite snug in my ear and I have no fears of them falling out on jog or even bending down to pick up a weight. I get about one week of use before I have to recharge them. They easily connect to my android mobile device but remember to keep them in your case because your phone will consistently try to connect even if your in your car.

I have been very skeptical about about buying Bluetooth headphones because I always thought that wired ones just sound better. I finally decided to try a pair of Sony WF-SP800N. What was I waiting for?! These headphones have very impressive sound, and I was blown away by the bass. The sound quality was much higher than I anticipated, and these are my new go to headphones for traveling to and from work because of the high quality sound canceling. One of my favorite parts is how easily and quickly the connect to my phone or computer once I turn on Bluetooth and take them out of the case. The battery life is also very impressive. They last me the full day without having to charge them. Which is good, since they are so comfortable to wear, they get used a lot. They have also replaced my wired headphones for conference calls since the microphone picks up my voice perfectly and eliminates background noise. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a high quality, versatile, pair of Bluetooth headphones.

I bought these earbuds to replace another good sounding pair that did not have noise cancelling. I am most disappointed in that feature. I realize that the instructions say that proper ear fit is necessary to have the noise cancelling feature work at its best, yet I have tried all the enclosed ear fittings and the best fitting pair (both of the large ones) seem to enclose my ear opening the best. They seem properly fitted to my ear, but I can push the earpiece in and it seems to close more. Perhaps there could be a larger option. I am a piano technician by trade, retired from a University music department, and have experience working with international artists on the finest of pianos. My hearing is excellent, and these earbuds seem to have no noticeable effectiveness, in my opinion.

I was very impressed with these earbuds. I have used various earbuds in the past and these beat them handily. They cancel outside noise and stay put through my workouts. They are extremely comfortable - i almost forget they are in my ears. Battery life is quite long.

I was super excited to purchase these because of the sporty look and waterproof features. These turned out to be much better than I’d thought! The fit is perfect for ppl who don’t like traditional buds that tend to slip out. Love how they’re waterproof so I can use on my runs while sweating. Battery life is very good. For one hour runs, I’ve been able to use it 5-6 times before recharging. The only thing is the sound quality isn’t as clear as in-ear buds, but still really good compared to other brands. I received this at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

These headphones are great! The quality of the sound, including great bass, is superb in my opinion. From the moment I out them in, these small buds completely envelop you in sound. Even though I would wear them for a few hours a day, a quick drop in the case and they would be back to full in no time. Hardly even had to charge the case as well. I used these for many different activities. Phone calls were clear, both on my end and the other caller's. One thing I really found them useful for was during my woodworking. I could pop them in and work away, no issues. And with the built in Google Assistant, I didn't have to go find my phone if I wanted to change songs or needed to check the time. Overall would highly recommend.
