not happy at all with this tv, operative system was terrible updating constantly and being very unstable until the day tv stopped working, precisely when warrranty stop coverage. Sony support was very poor and reparing it was not an option as it was half the price of the tv.

Took me less than 10 minutes to completely set up this set to a Verizon cable box and establishing single control using the Verizon remote. Great picture. Might want to put a sound bar on it, but otherwise very happy.

We bought this 3 years ago and all of a sudden it stopped working. When we called Sony Customer Support, they told us to contact a technician for repair services. We have always liked Sony as it was a reliable product. Not anymore.It doesn't make sense to pay to have it repaired when we can buy another, more reliable one. We are disappointed in Sony. It was good while it worked.

I enjoy my BRAVIA Mod. XBR-49X830C, and as a fan of Android devices I am well pleased with all that it has to offer and the quality of it's design to include awesome sound, beautiful video, and an intuitive offering of options and setup features that can be fine tuned to your liking. After some face time and test drives of other TV's on the market at various retailers and after venturing all over internet I finally decided to go with Sony because of their reputation in the industry. I'm so happy I made the choice, and I look forward to getting my moneys worth from my BRAVIA, and experiencing years of what I expect to be troublefree service.

This is a beautiful looking set and works fine. The remote drives me occasionally sometimes. I have to be close to the set for it to work.

ive had to get the main board replaced once and power supply twice. This tv is complete junk and after the service from customer service of sony this will be the last sony i purchase. Im selling this and my 75 inch and moving to LG.

The TV is good and has a decent amount of features, but the sound quality is poor and I have a lot of issues connecting to Netflix, for example. I cannot connect at least 50% of the time, and it has nothing to do with my network connection. I can connect to other streaming services just fine.

This is actually for the XBR 43X800D no the X830C. It has 4k UHD Android and HDR. Nice slim design. I chose the 43" model because I didn't have the room for larger. It works nicely, the HDR feature was a plus. I use this mainly for my computer which runs all of my A/V needs. It works great far away with large text and up close to run multiple windows with lots of text. I don't need an extra monitor for utility when I can do it all on one. Right now I am stuck with 30 Hz setting on 2160P to run Windows 10 in HDR, but I think I just need to do a few tweaks to get it working properly at 60hz. It is a little on the bright side for a monitor, but with proper adjustments this can be remedied. It definitely works great for 1080p and 2160p sources. You need to sit farther away if it is 720p or less quality. I have toyed around with the TV and App functions, but mostly I only need it as a monitor. Anything it can do with those features can be replicated on my PC and I use it for multiple purposes so there is really very little reason to switch inputs. I am so happy that it has no burn in like my last 1080p TV that I used as a monitor, that was really unusable with PC backgrounds. That thing weighs a ton too, this is so much easier to move around. I chose this model because the base was attractive and not far out on the sides and not totally in the middle as a console. The bezel is hardly noticeable even though not invisible. Controls, remote, and hookups are all more than sufficient. I'm sure there will be so many new advances that I will again want to upgrade, but for now I think I'll be good for another 5 years or so (bought in 2016--review in 2018)

I am using this led for past 18 months. 3rd SONY in our family. No complaints, no issues. Can you add feature for Bluetooth wireless receiver output? This in case we don't want others to listen what they don't want. I use Bluetooth keyboard with this and it works great.

I purchased this set in January 2018 . Not sure how to use all it's feature as far as UKHD is concerned as nothing is broadcast in 4KUHD yet to get the full extent of it's brilliance . I would like to know more about the Blue tooth feature as the instruction that come with it are very vague and brief . Does it mean can I use Blue Tooth speakers with it , it doesn't say . Is it only meant to connect with my phone or tablet , it doesn't say . Wish it came with more printed info besides thee obvious .

I've had this TV for almost 2 years and I still love it. The features are amazing, the apps are current and the video quality is superb. All taking into account I got a really good deal for it when I purchased it. It's slim, easy to use and definitely worth it. Would definitely buy another Sony TV in the future.

Actually, I purchased it a couple years ago! This has been a great 4K with awesome colors from any angle that you watch it! This TV is loaded with smart features built in and can be used at the touch of a button. Motion on this set is 120 Hz and all program viewing is good! Colors are good as well even for animation. The ANDROID OS is cool! I have a bluetooth keyboard hooked up for easy web surfing! Love my 4K TV, updates are automatic and keeps it running smooth.

I did not realize Sony was a player the the HDTV market. We were replacing our daughter's 55" Samsung. Our sales person had a great price on this one and our Dish service supports ultra HD. Easy to set up, and I am surprised at how much we use the apps. I would buy another one even though we Apple oriented and the TV is Android.

Besides the obvious looks better. It is so easy to link stuff to it which what like in a tv the apps fluent and abundant. One draw back would like qwert keyboard on the remote my last tv had this feature the only 1 up it had . I would pay for one if it became available.

All the software updates seem to screw up my settings, and as of late, the TV logs off my network after every use, so I basically have to log on to my network EVERY SINGLE time I use Netflix, for example. It's really annoying and never used to be that way.

Just purchase this set 2 days ago and have been playing with the pic settings. Sony as usual, is a head of the times, this set will be good for years to come. Excellent controls, easy to use remote, plus a lot of bells and whistles. The pic is excellent, depending on the signal you are getting. The only cons for this set is that tv station, cable companies, tech standards are behind the times. This set is years beyond today standards, the better the signal the better this set gets. There is only one set to buy and that's sony

The reflections off the screen in daylight rooms is highly distracting. I have white walls that bleed through on a lot of scenes. Back lit venetian blinds are vey distracting. The screen reflects badly in very dark scenes, I like sci-fi, and the space scenes, which are very dark, allow you to see myself in the scene, literally. Once the rooms darken in the evening, the screen is beautiful. On very black scenes, there is a cloudy appearance in the black, particularly in the corners.

Since I have another Sony Bravia HDTV which is a 32" model which is about 6 yrs old. I purchased this one which is a good size that I wanted . This set has a excellent picture and has a lot more applications that I can use, especially since it is an Android tv and is also able to be used with my wireless internet connection. It is very easy to set up, and the settings can be tweaked to suit anyone's preference.

After setting up and using the new SONY 4K television, it's well worth the money we spent. The picture is excellent on and off axis. The colors are vibrant and realistic. Blu Ray movies are better than ever. And it's not so large that it overwhelms our living room. Thanks SONY!
