simple idea, and it works!
I use this with my Nokia Icon and it works just fine. I needed to tighten the set screws the first time I used it, but them it was great, used as a small hand hold grip or a table tripod, either way it workd just fine. Real light weight and small in size, easy to store in trouser pocket.
The Square Jellyfish Spring Tripod Mount with Micro Ball Head includes a tripod mount with four springs that grip any smartphone with a width between 2 1/4 and 3 5/8". It mounts on a separately sold tripod to steady the phone for taking photos and videos. You can rotate it to orient the smartphone in either landscape or portrait mode. Additionally, the Spring Tripod Mount is small enough to fit in your pocket for easy portability.
Also included is a lightweight ball head designed to hold cameras and smartphones under 9 oz. It can fit onto any tripod with a 1/4"-20 threaded stud. You can pan your camera a full 360-degrees, while the built-in tension screw will hold it in place. Two slots on the head allow you to place the camera in portrait orientation. Tension can be adjusted with a small flat-head screwdriver by turning the recessed set-screw under the ball head.
