A great rig for outdoor photography and videography

It's a great and smooth fluid head for the price. Just keep in mind you are not buying a high end studio piece of equipment here. This is great for field shoots that involve packing light and hiking or trekking to a shoot. Definitely worth the money for those fields of work. The handle twist lock extends to a reasonable and helpful length of just shy of a foot. The quick release mount gives you a rapid set up and tear down ability. It fits well on my heavier Manfrotto tripod as well as my lightweight carbon fiber Tiffen.

SmallRig Lightweight Fluid Video Head 3457 is specially designed for videoing and photography. It features panoramic panning and is Arca-swiss QR system compatible, allowing being fitted directly with Arca-swiss cages and L brackets. You may adjust its center of gravity back and forth by turning the side knob when using large lenses or mounting camera horizontally.

The head comes with a removable telescopic handle that supports 360 Degree swivel and one 1/4''-20 threaded hole to fit a magic arm for such devices as monitor, microphone, image transmitter or even camera. A built-in spanner is also included for removing or installing quick release plate.

Note: Heavy cameras and lenses may affect tilt experience of the head.
