Needs to be tightened often

Does the trick. Just wish it would lock in place. I found that it tends to start to slip and needs to be retightened often

Strong, versatile, attractive, multi-purpose piece. Buy it, you?ll like it!

This is a very good looking, versatile, well-constructed piece. I bought it for use with my Weebil-S gimbal. I find that it provides the strong, additional support that was needed by my left hand for added stability but also to free-up my right hand to make little adjustments here and there. I can also use it with my numerour still cameras as a solid grip for stability but also to provide a versatile mounting point for flash, microphone, small HDMI monitor, etc. I highly recommend this grip and feel that my hard-earned money was well spent. Use it in good health.

Lightweight and strong

Grip can be placed on left or right hand side. I bought this to mount a lavalier transmitter. Very satisfied mounted to a Moza Air 2.

SmallRig Wood Side Handle with ARRI-Style Mount HSS2642 is designed to provide a comfortable grip for increasing stabilization and accessory mounts for cameramen. The handle attaches to the cage or camera rig via an ARRI 3/8"-16 screw with two locating pins. The handle can be configured for right or left Hand by detaching the metal connector. Featuring 3/8"-16, 1/4"-20 and cold shoe accessory mounts on top to add a mounting arm, light, mic or other accessories.

The screws attach to a sliding mechanism that allows you to slide the handle up and down for your preferred position. A built-in Allen wrench inside the bottom allows to adjust the handle position and for further secure. The smooth wood handle provides a solid, comfortable grip and it also works well in the situation of low temperature.
