I did have it for 2 years but given its price, it should still work. The S-pen stopped working, the speakers don't work when the phone is unfolded, the creases in the middle looks horrible, the display does not recognize touch in certain spots. Samsung, pay attention to quality control please.

It has design flaws that causes inner screen protector starts peeling off( after one year of use in my case). I have replaced the protectors twice at samsung experience store and every time the new screen protector started creating bubbles within hours. Theis issue makes this expensive phone unusable after 1 year, and samsung's solution is just replacing with another screen protector.

Ive had this phone for over 6 months. I was in love with it the moment i laid eyes on it and i love it more even now. I have not experienced any of the problems stated in previous reviews. My phone runs perfectly in both phone and tablet modes. All of my apps fill the tablet screen. My hinge works perfectly, my screen is pristine. I use the tablet feature more than the phone features as i read, write, sketch, and play immersive games for the most part of my days. Im a server, so my phone encounters water, food, dust, dirt, syrup, etc. With proper cleaning, I still have perfect usage. My one and only complaint is, it did not come with the S Pen. Although, I ordered mine through the AT&T store, so that may be the issue. All replacements that i have purchased don't link to the phone. I am having a hard time just finding the Right SPen.

We purchased two Fold 3s primarily concerned about the folding screen being durable. Samsung claims it had tested against this with over 200,000 open/close cycles. The first failed after six months causing pixelation issues as well, rendering the "open" screen feature useless. Then the second one failed at around 16 months. Screen separated (failed) at the seam and then quickly spread. My service provider finally offered to replace both Fold 3s - after 6 or more customer complaints from me and about three hours of my time. Your choice... the fold-out feature is very helpful and offers an excellent picture quality and screen clarity. You are rolling the dice-make no mistake, but if you trust your cell provider to cover the potential defect or Samsung to honor the warranty, this is the phone of the future. There is a class-action suit filed against Samsung Electronics U.S.A. around the defect (state of New York) and the failure/defect is described very well. I like my Fold 3. Samsung has dropped in my mind as a manufacturer lately.

I've had this for for 1 year and 3 months. At first I really loved the phone, BUT once the 1 year warranty is up the screen that folds open will peel!! I rarely use the big screen and it's completely peeled from top to bottom!!! Samsung will not pay for a repair due to being out of the 1 year warranty by 3 months, but mind you, the screen didn't start peeling until AFTER the 1 year warranty was up! So I guess they expect you to pay 388$ for a new screen every 1 year and 3 months! I WILL NEVER EVER GET ANOTHER ANDROID!!! I paid $2,000 for a phone screen that WILL peel over time! Save your money. I'll gladly go back to IPhone!

Worked great for about 9 months, then the inside screen protector started to peel. Samsung said don't take it off and self replace take it to our store. Made an appointement and showed up but the store didn't have any protectors. No other store did and they have a 6 MONTH backlog. They refused to take off the one that i had so i've just been dealing with it. Today, 12 days after the 1 year warrenty expires the inside screen cracks, turns black right at the seam where it folds and doesn't respond to touch anymore. Awful support. I purchased the Z folder 4 in December of 2022. In August of 2023 the phone shut off and wouldn't turn back on. This was two weeks before the factory warranty ended. Thankfully, it was able to be repaired. I got it back from the local repair facility and it did the same thing 3 weeks later. At this time I contacted Samsung and they sent me back to that repair facility but the repair facility told me they can't get parts for the phone since the latest version came out. Samsung then asked me to send it to themselves they can repair it. Well, after waiting about 3 more weeks I was informed by samsung they couldn't repair it and they were putting a refund request in for me. The refund process was agonizing and took two months. I'm a small business owner and it costed me time, money and potential new business. I was misinformed by several Samsung representatives over the course of the two months about the process and the status of my refund. Today I couldn't wait any longer for them to send the proper documents via email so I had to go and pay the phone off out my own pocket in order to purchase another phone to get the verification code for the refund. I'm not pleased at all with Samsung or their staff. DO NOT PURCHASE A FOLD PHONE!

It's a nice device and worked pretty good but only for one year. Now there is a huge black line in the middle of the large screen and it does not work anymore. I do not play video games and did not use it heavily. I expected it to work for few years. I try to contact Samsung to find a solution. I am really disappointed and do not suggest a flip phone. Two months past warranty, my Fold 4 suddenly became unusable. When I would open/unfold the phone, it would shut down. At the same time, the speakers stopped working. Through some internet research, I found that others have experienced the same problem. I took the Fold 4 to a U Break I Fix, an authorized Samsung repair facility, and they said Samsung would require me to replace the outer screen (which has a minor crack), the inner screen (which is not damaged), and some other things before repairing my phone. The cost of those repair alone would cost around $900. I decided to write this review and buy a new phone instead. My new phone will not be a Samsung.

I have been a Samsung customer for decades. I typically purchase the highest tier phone as I use it for my personal business. I purchased a Z Fold 4 eight months ago. I have a case on it. It has not been dropped, hit or misused. The inside screen began to make a crackling sound when I opened the phone and a black line ran the length of the screen. Within one week the inside screen was completely unusable. After some research I discovered my experience is very common. It is extremely frustrating that Samsung put out such a shoddy product and has not made an attempt to address the issues in a mass market. Regardless I am now stuck trying to find a replacement phone while I pay for repairs to a phone that will most likely not last another eight months due to design issues. The phone is also heavy. It feels like a brick.

I have been a Samsung/Android user for over 10 years. I'm going to change that because of this phone and move to iPhone. Today this same phone that I have over a year the sound stopped working. It literally became an interactive book. I had Samsung support remote in and try to find an issue on the phone to no success it would pass all tests, the tech even claimed its in great shape! Just a few minors scratches. They I formed me that I would need to pay to have the phone repaired even though they dont know whats wrong with it. Sorry, this phone cost me 2000 at the time of release and didn't even make it a year. I've been defending this company and phone with my life. Not any more, don't purchase!

Glitchy for sure...i need to force stop so many apps to use them, main apps like outlook email & my banking app i use constantly...Amazon music too. Not the fastest phone either, delay upon waking up. Some apps cant handle switching between screens and thats annoying. Just beyond the manufacturer warranty and im needing to get the screen protector replaced. I had the forethought to get extended coverage tho so thats a relief. Probably not going to get another fold until they get the kinks worked out since its been a pretty frustrating ride so far.

Over 12 years I always choosed Samsung for my business starting with Samsung Note 1 and then continued to Z Fold series. Easy to use, Lots of features. You can organize your stuff the way is best for you. Bigg screen is a thing. I started with a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and loved it. When Samsung offered a fantastic trade in offer, I upgraded to the Z Fold 4 and it is even better than the 3. I use my Fold as my phone and my tablet. After only a couple of weeks, I ditched my Ipad Mini and use my Z Fold exclusively. I use it to watch videos, work on Excel and Word files for work and I play an occasional game or two. I just got home from a few days in Montana and my pictures of the trip are fantastic. A video I shot of bison is amazing. This device can do it all. Can't wait to upgrade to the Z Fold 5

This product has an inherent issue where after a period of time, there will be a large black line in the middle of the screen. If you research this, you will see that a lot of people are having this issue. The fold area will end up with dead pixels.

The phone lags sometimes but not bad. I like how people ask me, what is that, double screen, how does it work etc. It has the WOW factor. Love the phone. Inner screen has better screen quality but it may be because it is softer and sensitive.

Want to start off by saying THANK YOU to the Samsung design team for taking the time to perfectly craft this device. I bought it solely to use as a "Smart Remote" if you will, lol. BUT it was well worth its because it has so any uses that I never thought of. samsung thinks ahead for us! Packed with features. Craftsmanship is top tier. Its just a very stunning monster of a beautiful phone and small tablet because it opens and has features specifically designed to make use of its folding factor. I love it!
