Great tablet when it works. Mine has been in for repair twice in the first month. It would work perfectly for a few days, then would get stuck in a "boot loop" and refuse to start. I have had to perform a factory reset six times now to get it running again. Samsung now says that there is nothing wrong with it.

I bought this in July of 2016. In August 2018, the screen developed a green band and then went black 3 days later. Loved it while it lasted, great screen and fast processing. I was hoping to keep it for at least 3 years. It is an expensive machine to replace every other year.

I have this held in a RAM mount in a JKE dock in my Jeep. I've got Locus Pro with the entire western states of USGS scanned maps and there's no substitute for having the best maps, ready to route and read out in the badlands. When in more civil settings it's great for keeping in touch and sending off a few pictures. Came in very handy when I was stuck and needed to call for help, but also the poor maps I was using at the time lead to getting stuck. I'd give this 5 of 5 if my charging circuit hadn't gone out and taken everything on the motherboard with it in the service replacement. Samsung should separate internal storage to it can be recovered. What's the cost of a daughterboard? I've recommended this model to several off-roading friends and we're all getting a lot of great use out of them. Be sure to pick up a soft cover for when you are out of the rig and want to carry it around.

I've been using my Tab S2 for over two years. Performance and battery life are still great after two years of use. Durable too, still in great condition. I use it to play games, watch movies, surf the internet, and read novels. My girlfriend liked it so much, I had to buy a second one so she'd give mine back. It is the perfect size. Fits right into my hand, as well as in my coat pocket, and even in the back pocket of my jeans! I considered buying the Tab S3 when it came out, but since there was no 8 inch option, I stuck with my trust S2. The size is about the same as the average novel, so it's perfect for reading. Holding the tablet with both hands, my thumbs can reach more than halfway across the screen, which is optimal for playing most android games, especially emulators. As far as I'm concerned, this the best tablet on the market until an 8 inch S3 (or S4! gets released.

I find it strange that every review on Samsung's website has a 5 star rating when it is well known this tablet has overheating issues, not responsive to touch, dropped wi fi issues, battery drains fast . I purchased the tablet and experienced all the above issues. My screen dimmed on and off as well. If you are thinking about purchasing the tablet, please do your homework.

The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is the nicest tablet I have owned. The screen is incredibly detailed and clear. Loading web pages is very fast and it has plenty of storage. I enjoy it being so light weight, even with the Samsung book cover. I would recommend it over any tablet out there.

As of this review, I've owned the tablet for over two months. The tablet is a great size and is very easy to carry around. For those that don't need a large display, this is a nice option. The viewing angles are nice and the colors really pop too. In regards to software, it packs in a lot of useful features. Whether it's for an adult that needs to get business done or a tablet for a child, the Tab S2 should be good for a lot of different scenarios. You can keep the experience basic or really dive in and take advantage of the software. Performance has been excellent. No noticeable slowdowns and it has handled all my tasks exceptionally. As for other parts of the tablet, the fingerprint sensor has been very reliable and convenient. I don't really use the cameras so I can't really comment on that experience. Then again, you're most likely carrying a smartphone that can take much better pictures. The speakers get the job done. You're not going to be wowed, but they should be loud enough to satisfy most. I haven't had any issues with hardware components. Everything has been functioning properly.

Its thin, its bright, its fast and absolutely wonderful, the new OS 6.0.1 marshmallow works incredibly well and the Amoled display is the brightest I have seen yet, it is thin and lite weight, at a great price. After the initial charge turn it on and worked great with zero problems. I would highly recommend the new Samsung S2 T713 to anyone. Thanks Samsung for a job well done.

I personally have the SM-T710 & not the recently updated SM-T713 version; which I personally was seeking a device with a priority of having the 'Exinos processor' and trying to avoid a seperate company addition to the device. Although Snapdragon proccessor is known to be good; my choice would be too have the proccessor that's made by the device; I personally feel, theirs a large emphasis on Snapdragon processor because other top qaulity devices are built with Snapdragon so it's popularity will cause many unexperianced potential customers too seek that processor in their device, but Exinos has worked very good as I expected and in the future, when I get the next device, I absolutely, definitely, and very assured that the Exinos processor better be in that device otherwise I will not feel completely confident of it. Snapdragon is good, but I think Samsung built the new TAB S2'S with Snapdragon processor just too satisfy many (unexperianced) customers; whom requested them for it, since the extreme informational popularity of Snapdragon proccessor has been trending around recently (Spring & Summer 2016) Still wish these devices had a seperate dedicated power source away from the battery. I would definitely recommend this product, either version of it, but between the two, (you know which I would choose). The only reason I would not recommend this, is so that I be the one with it and not you, so that my device is better than your; whichever device you get. This tablet is great!
