Eye cap rubber shade are not aligned properly when eyecap are extended. Also the eyecap extension is too short, exit pupil is too small seein blackout area. I have to position eyecaps away from my eyes to obtain full comfortable view. Disappointed with this purchase.

This is my 2nd binocular I owned, I lost the first one made by other company in Japan. I liked this Steiner , the view is pleasant to the eyes ( I wear glass ). also bright and sharp, a little heavy to my hands, rubber finish stick to the hands easily. I did not see the mark where it made, so I am not sure it made in Germany or else.

Good optics but some glue visible around one of the eyepieces a little disappointing for this manufacturer and level of product
