It's so bright in such a compact form factor. I can't wait to use it out on gigs for weddings! The battery lasts so long too so no worries about guests tripping over wires or anything.

I’ve already added these lights to my production process. So far I’ve used them as a backlight and ascent light in my interview videos. Love how small and powerful these lights are. Would highly recommend Filmmaker’s have these in their toolbox.

Great little light. This is our second and will be useful for wedding receptions for both photo and video with a light on either side of the dance floor.

Good amount of light and a great form factor, but poor build quality. I've bought four so far because they fall apart with moderate use. The knobs for color temp and brightness fall off; the diffuser is held on by magnets that fall out of their sockets; the battery compartments become loose and cause lights to flicker. I have yet to find a better option for my use case, but I wish Core would build these better.

I haven't used this light at a job yet but played around with it at home. Great so far!

Great light, using it with a JVC GY-NM890. Direct connect to the Anton Bauer plate works prefect. The Gimbal is a little weak.

Be warned, this LED is a SPOT, estimating it to be roughly 30 degrees without the diffuser. The photometrics listed here and on Core's website, are for lux in SPOT mode, not wide with the diffuser. With the diffuser attached, the illumination emitted is about half that of a Fotodiox 312DS at 4200k, or roughly equal to it at 3200k. This LED also does not allow both 3200k and 5600k LED's to be maximum intensity simultaneously. That would probably result in a 26 watt power draw. The light is on the ever so slightly pink side of hue, and you would need extremely heat resistant gel if you wished to perfect it. If you are in the market for a Comer 1800 style LED, then consider this a better option for roughly the same price. The SPOT this produces is more intense than the Comer 1800, even when utilizing the Comer condenser lens trick..it is very powerful.

The TorchLED Bolt 250 leverages a newly patented Refractory Lens Technology providing a 250W equivalent light output while 40 percent thinner than its predecessor, the Bolt 220R. The Bolt 250 draws 13W of power and includes a separate on/off switch.
Featuring a wireless remote, the Bolt 250 can control the light from up to 250 feet away (non LOS). The nine channel remote control and magnetic diffusion filter allows users to control on/off, select color temperature and adjust light intensity. With the remote capability, users can easily adjust light settings at the tip of their fingers. Additionally, the Bolt 250 allows users to bank up to 10 lights per channel, allowing for control of the lights in unison.
The Bolt 250 has an independent knob for color temperature between tungsten (3200K) and daylight (5600K), eliminating the need to mix and match between two dials for the most accurate ambient light. The full 0-100 percent dimming control allows users to change the brightness with no noticeable color shift.
The BT250 also comes with an accessory package that includes a 1/4-20 Swivel Shoe mount, PowerTap cable for DC powering off of a standard 14.4V brick battery and magnetic diffusion filter. It also includes a battery and charger kit and accepts Sony L-Series batteries.
