Current reader transcends older one
I had misplaced my other Transcend card reader, so wanted another one so that I could keep transferring images. This one is faster than my old one and has a slot for mini cards, too.
I find the cap to be a bit fussy to remove; otherwise, I think it's nice to have a cap. My earlier card reader did not.

relatively fast and works as intended
This card reader works well and is relatively inexpensive.
Note that this device is fairly wide though, and plugging a SD card makes it take even more space. This may make it difficult to use in USB ports that don't have a lot of clearance to the side.

Been working fine
I got this to read the card from my drone. It has been working fine, no problems on a Mac. It shows up as a drive right away and I am good to go and copying anything from the inserted micro SD is smooth.

Does the job.
This thing is tiny! Don't be fooled by the images it is as small as a usb flash drive. Only gripe is it heats up pretty fast!

Works great
My PC didn't have an SD card slot so I needed this. It works perfectly and as a thumb drive I can take it anywhere I need. If you're in need of a card reader for SD or microSD I highly recommend this.

Incredibly easy to use
I only use cameras when we go on a family vacation. Until I bought this gadget, I could never figure out how to get the photos off of the memory cards. I would give them to my husband and he would do something at his office to get the pictures off. I have gotten very sick of having to rely on him for this task, so when I ordered a new LUMIX I added the Transcend card reader to my cart.
I tried it out this past weekend and it works perfectly with no issues at all. I slipped the memory card into the Transcend gadget, plugged it into my laptop and it mounted as a drive without me doing anything else. Simple and easy. I love it!

I like the speed and convenience this reader provides
I like the speed and convenience this reader provides. Makes copying photos much faster than USB 2.0. All this in a small package. I would prefer if the reader had an arrow indicating where the notched edge of the SDHC memory card should go.

Fast & Pocket Sized
This card reader is exactly what you need and nothing you don't.
It's more compact than some alternatives. It reads SD or Mirco SD.
I have never once had a problem with it. It saves me time.
It is as fast as my Sandisk cards. Huge difference over USB 2.0
I order 4 of these. One for home, work, laptop bag and an extra for travel.
Look no further.
