LAWRENCE M H : How do you close Canon cameras' battery covers with the TT Relay Coupler attached?BRIAN I : @larry, I have only used this on 5D3 and 7D2, but the solution is likely the same on any supported camera. If you feel around the edges of the door, you should find a little rubber insert that you can just poke out of the way and it lets the wire run through. It goes without saying, but once you are done tethering and go back to a normal battery, good to push that rubber back in place to keep your weather sealing intact.GARY W : I use the Rebel T7i and there 's a rubber breakout on the side of the battery door which allows the battery adapter cable so the door can close. The battery adapter then connects to the case relay which I connect to high amperage battery banks when doing long time lapse shoots.ANDREW M : There should be a flexible rubber notch at the bottom of the camera next to the battery. The cable from the dummy battery comes out this notch. You will have to bend the cable so it is flush to the bottom of the camera so the battery door closes.Grant W : On most models there is a little rubber flags that allows for the cover to close while still letting the cable pass through.GORDON L : Hi, There is a small relief flap of rubber on your Canon camera body at the base of the battery compartment. Once you open the flap it will allow room for the cable.to exit the camera body and allow the battery door to shut easily. However, the cover of my battery compartment does not close when using the Tether Tools Case Relay system; my battery is locked in place with a a spring clip so I image that might be the same for you; if not the wire needs to some kind of notch opening in your battery cover for the wire to exit.

Works great for me

I have purchased numerous of these battery packs. I use them to power my lumix g85 and gx85 cameras with the dummy battery insert. I can run my cameras forever off of regular usb power banks. They do only last a few years, which is the case with any battery, the battery will wear out. All batteries do. Get this thing, and get your matching battery insert, you can look up the model for your camera on their website.

Failed after a couple of years.

I was initially pleased with it and used it on a few night shoots with my D850 where it worked very well.. I had not used it for awhile and now it will not take a charge and continually shows a red light. The battery does not appear to be user replaceable. Expensive junk now. Grrr....

Works great.

Expensive for what it is, but it works perfectly for me. I use it to power my a7ii on a dedicated astrophotography setup. When combined with a Anker usb power bank, I can shoot for multiple nights even in cold temps without worrying about swapping batteries.
