Speedy Storage

Got a great deal on this card with my purchase. It records images and video rapidly and I haven't had a single issue. Mine has recorded thousands of images without a hiccup.

No complains

I use this memory card with my sony rx10. I have shot 100s of pictures and 2 hours videos in the AVCHD format and still had plenty of room in the card. I use FCPX to upload the videos directly from the card and it has a great response time. Its not cheap but for the money its worth every penny.

Hello I just bought this card and I got a similar error as the one listed above. My card is full and I am not being able to delete any pictures. What shall I do?

Had an error while recording my son's performance

I bought this SD Card about 3 months ago, and used it for the first time in February to record my son's performance in his school. When I recorded for about an hour, the SD card had problem, and my cam corder (SONY HDR CX900) could not write or read the SD card any more, and I could not record my son's performance. I was so disappointed. I want this to be replaced.

Mac users be aware

I bought this one for Nikon D800. It works with camera fine;but it canNOT be down loaded into iMac. Apple i Mac just does not 'SEE' this card. Many Apple users had major problem with this card.

Works as advertised

I purchased this SD memory card to add capacity to my nikon d600. I wanted to get the most speed for my money and this card delivers. I can shoot at my max FPS with no problem.

waste and slow write speed.

Write speed is exceptionally important. Do you want your camera waiting for the card to 'catch up'. Yes most cameras now will do photography multiple stills and HD video, whoever, the card can't write quick enough to catch up to the camera. Weakest link syndrome. Skip this and get a sandisk card that is 95mb/s read and 90 mb/s write. Otherwise, don't expect to be taking a lot of pics without standing and waiting, or take a video and it becomes jerky as heck.

Sony 64GB SDXC UHS-1, 94 MB/s Read Speed

To make long story short, here is the conclusion: if you are buying the card for the photography, go with the Sandisk Extreme(not Sandisk Extreme Pro, pro is twice as expensive). The extreme is same price, and storage, just faster write speed. if you are buyihg the card for application that the writing speed is sufficent, like many video recorders, then this card is better for you, because you do not need faster write speed, but you get the read speed which is double of the Sandisc Extreme. I dispise how manufacturers do not come clean with the specification of write speeds. I would take all stars away for disseption. However, all manufacturers do this. Even the wonderful Sandisk, who specifies the write speed for the top of the line cards, where they "kick but", but for lesser cards they do not. So relative to everyone else, Sony is on par: desiving like everyone else. So I only took one star for deseption, eventhough deseption should cost all stars. As far as the product it self it is my opinion that I would have been better off to buy Sandisk Extreme. It specifies 45MB/s for both write and read. The Sony card has over 2x read speed. However, in my tests, I believe the write speed is one half of the Sandisk Extreme(not the pro). While the price for this card was a little higher then the Sandisk Extreme (not the pro). Had Sony specified the write speed, I would not feel mislead. I would spend the same money( a little bit less), have the same storage space and probably twice as much writhing speed, though the read speed is double, for which I do not care as much as for write speed. In conclusion: if you are buying the card for the photography, go with the Sandisk Extreme(not the pro, pro is twice as expensive). Same price, and storage, just faster write speed. if you are buyihg the card for application that the writing speed is sufficent, like many video recorders, then this card is better for you, because you do not need faster write speed, but you get the read speed which is double of the Sandisc Extreme. Another note to Sony: Charging similar price for Sony UHS-1, to Sandisk Extreme is unfair. Having fast read speed is easy, because everyone has fast read speed. It is write speed that is difficult to do. Sandisk Extreme is much faster in writing then Sony UHS-1. Why do you think you deserve to charge the same amount of money(higher actually) then Sandisk Extreme?
