The DJI FPV Drone is overall everything they say. For those new to FPV (like myself) it is a great introduction. The Motion Controller is incredibly intuitive and allows you to dive right into the experience on your first flight. The combo sold by Adorama provides everything you need right out of the gate to have a rich introductory experience and to begin to learn more advanced flight concepts. The only thing that fell short of advertisement was the battery life. 20 minutes is unrealistic unless you do nothing but hover. I have been getting about 10 minutes of semi-aggressive flight time per battery. While it doesn't appear to meet advertised specs, 10 minutes of flight feels like about just the right amount of time. The experience is exhilarating and mildly disorientating and I found myself almost thankful the battery gave me a break. The Fly-more kit extends overall flight time for an outing to about 30 minutes, the carrying case provides convenient storage and protection for all elements in the combo and the SD card allows you to start capturing stunning flight footage on your first flight. If your looking to race drones, this may not be the right pick for you. It is an expensive unit that is not built to easily allow for modular repairs. The learning curve for full manual flight is steep and guaranteed to include some crashes. If you are looking for some well integrated GPS and software assistance that provides an immersive flight experience and great footage, then the DJI FPV as part of the DJI FPV Drone Combo is they way to go.

Wicked fun drone, easy to fly. I have no problem giving the controls to a friend and not worrying about it. Definitely get the fly more kit and the motion controller if you are new.

It doesn't work right out of the box. Goggles set to Chinese. WITH DJI tech support walking me through FOUR factory resets AND reinstalling the firmware updates (having to download the app AND initialization programs 3 times), they gave up.

I looked at they drone for quite some time. I began hang gliding lessons in my 40s and my knees just wouldn?t agree? I thought this drone would be the next best thing to flying like a bird. Without knowing what to expect, I read reviews and watched a lot of videos. I ordered from Adorama because they had a great price on a bundle. It arrived the next day! It was somewhat easy to set up. I downloaded and tried the simulator for a few flights but it made me dizzy and I was a bit worried as a few reviews had mentioned the VR glasses gave them some nausea issues. After a few actual flights with the DJI motion controller (I?ve yet to fly with the standard remote control), there was no issue at all and it was a joy to fly! I also purchased the DJI refresh insurance just in case. If you?re looking to feel like you?re flying like a bird, don?t hesitate going with this drone! Very nice build and always remember, you get what you pay for!

The FPV game is just on another level when it comes to simulating the experience for audiences to feel like they?re actually ?in the shot?. An incredible piece of engineering, this drone is the closest thing to feeling like a pilot without actually being on a plane. Bear in mind that getting to a decent level of operation takes time, practice and effort. A word of advice would be to take it slow, then gradually push the limits ever so carefully.

After reading a lot of review on this drone, finally decided to buy this one and try out the immersive experience of flying with First Person View. Totally worth it the price for the experience you get from it. I would really like to see some more flight time on single battery, but not too bad either. Yet to try out the manual mode and full potential. But already enjoying it. For beginners I would recommend to get the motion controller for this and with that even kids can fly without crashing.

This is a really fun drone to fly. I would not recommend this for beginners but it does have beginner modes. The only reason is replacement cost. Get a Mavic Mini to learn on and then step up to this bad boy.

You get a lot for the price. The case works well but needs more room for growth, Batteries (holding 4 ro 5 would be good). The strobe is a nice plus too.
