Nice Visuals

The monitor gives a great realistic and uniform picture. It connects to virtually any video source and having the HDMI input is key when using high def recording formats. I replaced the Panasonic battery plate with a Sony plate as it did not accept the version of Panasonic batteries I have and the Sony plate accepts those Sony batteries I use for a variety of accessories. The switch out was seamless and easy. However, it is a chore to get the batteries to connect solidly into the receptor. I have checked multiple times and the batteries conform to the specs for the receptors, and still it is a bit of a struggle to attach to the back. Once there they work perfectly and having the option to connect to line power or off Anton Bauer batteries is a good option to have in a pinch. Overall the quality of the picture and versatility of the monitor outshine the difficulty of the battery connection and I would recommend this monitor to anyone in need of a sharp accurate picture as they go into production.
