I love, love this bag. My preferred go to bags and packs are Peak Design. However, for volume of equipment and ease of movement the Alta is excellent with one caveat. I?d you are a frequent flyer the new bag configurations on planes (side overhead bins versus flat configurations) this bag will be too large and you do risk it not being able to be brought aboard as a carry-on depending on your airline and boarding agent. Who wants to risk 10k of equipment and batteries in the cargo hold? In situations like these I remove the internal gear insert (which is truly the brilliance of those bag) which is Velcro adhere d to the sides and it fits perfectly in a hard sided carry-on bag. I use numerous Samsonite carry-ons and the fit and snugness is perfect. It saved me on my latest trip to SXM.

I love this bag! The bag is well designed and the materials are sturdy. I have a back problem so the rollers are very helpful and essential to me. I also like that it has many pockets to hold a tripod and accessories, even a place to carry a tripod. A cover for the bag during inclement weather is included also. Now, I can put together all of my stuff in one bag rather in different small bags. Thank you Vanguard!

Just used this bag for my trip as carry on - awesome bag! Wish there was a small mesh pocket on the side for bottled water but it?s not that important. Highly recommend for traveling photographers.

I chose this bag for airline travel and general convenience. Having received it I love the configuration. I can pull the camera right out the top/front compartment with ease regardless of which lense is attached. It seems to roll very well so far and is laid out very well. One reviewer stated ‘it had a mind of its own’ while rolling and I haven’t found this to be an issue. I suppose dual wheel casters might improve steering but the bag rolls well so far. The construction is top notch, the removable interior is well thought out and the bag is an upgrade for me from a 10 year old Tenba shootout. The straps don’t pack away completely due to padding and the strap attachment buckles at the base don’t stow but this is not a problem for me. I intend to use it in two weeks as a carry on for clothing minus the camera gear to make sure there are no carry on issues before traveling with actual gear inside. It’s nice that the entire gear divider comes out easily and is well made.

Love my new bag. It took some getting used to a new bag but This one has all the whistles and bells. Definitely nice and the four wheels help when traveling.

The bag is fine but wheels had issues after 18 months. Customer service was miserable but eventually got wheels sorted. Won't be buying another one though.

Great bag. Much better than the size below it and although it advertises 14" laptop, my macbook pro fits just fine - snugly with a case.

This is one of the best rolling bags out there. I'm a wedding photographer, and I've been using this one for 6 month now. I can't find any faults with this bag except maybe some minor stuff I can easily deal with. I'll add to this review some more info when I have time.

I purchased this for use when traveling by air as I have an upcoming trip to visit family, after which I will be shooting an auto race before returning home by car. The bag has an abundance of room for my camera and three lenses, flash, accessories, rain poncho, etc. The only thing that would make it better is if it could be converted to a backpack too. The one they have that converts to a backpack has the wheels sticking well below the body and I didn't like that.

The product is well designed and executed. Unfortunately it doesn't come with shoulder straps. I opted for the 48T which does. I'd recommend it for any traveler that doesn't need that option.

Looked at several Rolling Camera Bags and settled on this one. Holds two mirror less cameras, four lenses, tripod and accessories. Handles very nice, not extremely heavy. Rolls and turns great. Liked the lock that was included. Overall excellent bag for 5he price.
