WD 5TB SSD Drive
This device is easy to use I've known WD for decades. First review. There is nothing negative to write about this storage device. I will say I should have checked and read more closely the limitations from Xbox Series X. Xbox doesnt have or doesn't allow the storage of different media on the drive. Saved games, photos, videos. Xbox will only allow one type of use of the drive, unfortunately. I love WD, I will continue to buy their products.

WD_Digital Black 5TB External Hard Drive Xbox X/S
Due to the limited storage capacity of my Xbox Series S the WD_Digital 5TB External Hard Drive. Allows me to never again have to uninstall a game just to play another one it's a pain if. You down loading Madden24 or Call Of Duty with 5TB's of space all of my favorite game's have room. I my only downside is that you can't play games that are optimized for Xbox Series X/S other than that it gets an easy 5 ?? but since I can't I'll give it 4 ??

My honest reveiw.
I have a Series S and I bought the 2TB version at a local Walmart. It was really easy to use and install, but the only thing wrong or misidentified part of the product is it shows while setting up it only has 1.8TB of storage added. It wasn't a huge bummer though, I imagine it must be really hard to get the exact number of digital storage needed. the quality of the hard drive itself is by my standers excellent. for 2TB it's really cheap too. overall, if your looking for a cheap, easy to install and amazing hard drive altogether, you might want to consider the WD_BLACK P10.

It works and it doesn't.
I got this hard drive for my Xbox series S/X. It will download any game without question but the problem lies in the fact that it cannot play any game that's been optimized for X/S. You have to put those on your console hard drive. It will download them for sure, but they are unplayable sadly.

Worked great till it stopped working suddenly
Bought for my son for Christmas 2 years ago. After about 6 months he started having problems reading it. Then it just stopped working and couldn't be read or even seen on ANY device ( other Xboxes, laptop, etc.). Luckily it was still under warranty but had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get a replacement. Finally, a replacement is supposed to be on its way. We'll see ?

Large storage for great price
Not only does it operate as advertised, but the price point, for a QUALITY product, is excellent. Simply hook it up, wait about 10 seconds and the console will recognize it automatically.

Works great
I am new to most tech stuff but this was very easy to set up. The only thing I had a hard time with was on how to disconnect it properly but I just watched some YouTube videos to figure it out. And another nice thing about this is that I can play older games off it without moving anything on to the Xbox, I can play right off the drive

Specs say Compatible with Series X/S but nope.
When I checked the info section, it said it was compatible with the Series X/S. I should have known better because of course it's not. I feel like I was mislead into buying this, but I can use it on my old Xbox One I suppose...

randomly Quit working
I've had the 5TB model for a few months now, and kept it in great condition. Only used it on one Xbox, didn't take it out very often. And it randomly just quit working on me today (9/29/21). The internals are spinning, the light is on everything appears to be working, but it's not being recognized by any devices whether they are my Xbox, my girlfriend's Xbox, either computer etc? it just up and quit working.

It is a very good hard drive really neat and cool looking also. It dies really good at storing games, and not having a ssd is fine considering it's downloads fairly fast regardless so that's not to much of a problem.

Great product
I'm so glad I got the extra storage hardrive for my Xbox one. We were running out of room for games and this has been great. It's small and doesn't take up much room. We have downloaded about a dozen new games of various sizes and have only used about 25%

A Must Own...
This Western Digital Hard Drive has a modern look, very different from others I have. The hard drive is easy to use. You simply plug the drive into your Xbox One with the provided cord and follow the prompts on the screen. The transfer of game content was quick. By using this hard drive, it seems to have made the overall experience better. It doesn't take much to fill up the hard drive on the gaming system. With this additional space, it helps make the games run smoothly. It's also a nice compact size, which makes it easy to carry. Overall it's a quality device.

works seamlessly on a PS4. upgraded from a 2TB external hard drive that was getting full, transferring via PS4 was simple but took a while. for reference, took anywhere from 40-70 minutes to transfer roughly ~450GB at a time -- wasn't too bad of a trade-off for an extra ~2.6TB.
