A bit spendy but Invaluable when light spill needs to be controlled
We shoot a lot of weddings and outdoor portraits each year. Aside from our camera body, the rapid box gets the most use and abuse.
There are times during each event when controlling the spill is necessary to get the shot how it was imagined. The grid is the best way to control light spill on this medium portable soft box.
Yes, Westcott makes you pay good money for these however they are invaluable.

Oh so happy
I've been wanting to get this ever since changing from flash to strobes. Use it as hair light for portraits, works great with the grid for black backdrops. Nice soft light and so easy to set up, making me oh so portable. I use it with the Westcott XLL rapid box. Makes life so much easier with these modifiers. As always Adorama provided fast shipping and service. I plan to get more to use for side lighting and commercial use. LOVE IT!

Packin' a big punch
Highly recommend this grid! The rapid box is constructed well and perfect for tight quarters. The grid prevents spill over on the backdrop and creates a voluminous highlight to shadow ratio.

Great product, expensive accessory
Great modifier to control light spill on your background, made very well and fits my 26 octa perfectly. The only downside about this product is the price, it's almost as much as the softbox it's meant to fit.

A necessity
This is a great attachment to my octa because I use a virtual background and this help avoid glare.
