Too close to monitor top

Overall I?m very happy with the product. The cage doesn?t cover the monitor, but it comes right to the edge.This makes it, so my finger can?t touch the top menus of the screen without difficulty.

Solid

This piece is solid. I haven't quite found the right use for the 15mm rod clamp on the back yet, other than an easier way to relocate the stock viewfinder. It does stick out a ways in front of the camera body which means I need to remove the plate when I pack the camera down small for travel.

Perfect accessory for the Sony FS5

This piece is much more sturdy than the supplied mount. Plus it provides a multitude of additional mount options (screw receptacles).

The FS5 Top Plate includes a plate to attach to the top of the FS5 which fits around the Sony top handle and a 15mm side facing rod lock. This rod lock allows you to attach any 15mm rod accessory, such as the Axis Mini or a Zacuto Zamerican Arm. The FS5 Top Plate also includes a 3" black 15mm F/F rod. You can use this rod to mount the LCD of the FS5 when using the Zacuto Z-Finder, instead of using the Sony adapter. There are five 1/4 20 screw holes and one 3/8 16 screw hole on each side of the camera top handle. Custom screw holes are also included to relocate the Sony cable holder and film plane marker.

Please note: the FS5 Top Plate is specifically designed for the Sony FS5 and will not work on any other camera. Zacuto products are proudly made in the USA and non-electronic products have a lifetime warranty
