The Baader Planetarium 2" 1.8x Glaspathcorrector is a high-quality, innovative accessory designed specifically for Refractors and Schmidt Cassegrains telescopes. This versatile eyepiece accessory is not just a Barlow lens; it is primarily designed to correct the prismatic color fringing that often occurs in Refractors due to the high amount of glasses used in binocular prisms.
This Glaspathcorrector, with its full aperture and integrated Coma-Corrector, enhances the viewing experience by providing a wide field of view, high contrast, and minimal distortion. It's a user-friendly tool that can be easily inserted into the Baader Maxbright and Mark V Grossfeld Binocular viewer.
Please note that for optimal performance, you will need to additionally acquire the T-2 Maxbright mirror diagonal (#2456100). For the Mark V Binocular, a T-2 change ring (#2456320) is required to change to 90 degrees.
