I got this for my Stellarvue 80mm refractor. Works great for those evenings when I just want to view some clusters, etc. Super EZ to screw on the backend and add a diagonal and Televue EP. it was on backorder for some months but worth the wait. I also have one of these (different threads) for my 9.25 SCT and love em both. These prevent your precious gear from bouncing off the ground!!!

The Baader ClickLock Eyepiece Clamp, compatible with both 1-1/4" and 2" eyepieces, is a robust and precision-engineered accessory designed for secure and scratch-free attachment of eyepieces, CCD cameras, and similar accessories to your telescope or microscope. This high-quality clamp, specifically designed for ES/Bresser/Omegon Hexafocusers, offers a sturdy and durable solution for astronomers and microscopy enthusiasts.
With a simple 20-degree turn, this versatile eyepiece clamp firmly secures your equipment, eliminating the need for handling small locking screws. Even when wearing gloves, the operation remains effortless. The clamp's design incorporates seven precision-machined components, providing an effective retention mechanism that holds any 1-1/4" or 2" eyepiece securely.
The Baader ClickLock Eyepiece Clamp is more than just a clamping device. Its design principles are derived from professional mechanical engineering, similar to the tool holder in modern CNC milling centers. This clever use of leverage multiplies the torque, ensuring your equipment is held securely on three sides, similar to a quick-action chuck, preventing any tilting movements.
The 2" ClickLock system is designed for enhanced mechanical solidity. A light 20-degree turn of the rotary lever is sufficient to hold all 2" accessories securely. The ratchet function provides acoustic and haptic feedback, allowing you to determine whether the clamp is open or closed even in the dark or without looking.
The clamp features a massive tension ring that protects even the most expensive accessories from scratches and bruises. The position of the rotary lever is adjustable for left-hand or right-hand use, either by six camera slotted screws or by six Allen screws with a hexagonal wrench, depending on the model.
The Baader ClickLock Eyepiece Clamp has been tested under extreme conditions, including lifting a complete C14 with an SCL-clamp and a 2" Click Lock star diagonal with a Scopos 30mm extreme eyepiece. However, it's important to note that such a test setup is not recommended for imitation.
With the extensive range of ClickLock clamps, it's possible to retrofit the Baader 2" ClickLock clamp on many telescopes, making it a versatile addition to your astronomical equipment collection.
