Even with gloves on, a simple twist of the eyepiece clamp ensures your eyepiece is securely fixed.Constructed from seven precision-machined components, the ClickLock clamp provides a highly effective retention mechanism. This clever use of leverage multiplies the torque, holding the inserted object on three sides, similar to a quick-action chuck, preventing any tilting movements. The 2" ClickLock system is designed for enhanced mechanical solidity. A light 20-degree turn of the rotary lever is all it takes to hold all 2" accessories securely and firmly. I got this for my Stellarvue 80mm refractor.  Works great for those evenings when I just want to view some clusters, etc.  Super EZ to screw on the backend and add a diagonal and Televue EP.  it was on backorder for some months but worth the wait.  I also have one of these (different threads) for my 9.25 SCT and love em both.  These prevent your precious gear from bouncing off the ground!!!
