I got this for my Stellarvue 80mm refractor. Works great for those evenings when I just want to view some clusters, etc. Super EZ to screw on the backend and add a diagonal and Televue EP. it was on backorder for some months but worth the wait. I also have one of these (different threads) for my 9.25 SCT and love em both. These prevent your precious gear from bouncing off the ground!!!

A marvel of precision engineering, the Baader 2" ClickLock Eyepiece Clamp with Female M54x0.75 Threads is a robust and reliable accessory for your Bresser, Omegon, and Explore Scientific reflectors. This high-quality eyepiece clamp is designed to securely hold eyepieces, CCD cameras, and similar accessories, ensuring they are locked against rotation and protected from scratches.
The user-friendly design of this eyepiece clamp eliminates the need for clamping screws. With a simple 20-degree turn, your eyepiece is firmly clamped, eliminating the need to fumble with small locking screws. This feature is especially handy when wearing gloves or operating in low-light conditions.
Constructed from seven precision-machined components, this sturdy eyepiece clamp provides a highly effective retention mechanism that securely holds any 1-1/4" or 2" eyepiece. The mechanical principle behind this clamp is derived from professional mechanical engineering, similar to the tool holder in modern CNC milling centers. This clever use of leverage multiplies the torque, providing a secure hold on three sides, similar to a quick-action chuck, preventing any tilting movements.
The 2" ClickLock system is designed for enhanced mechanical solidity. A light 20-degree turn of the rotary lever is sufficient to hold all 2" accessories securely and firmly. The ratchet function provides acoustic and haptic feedback, allowing you to know whether the clamp is open or closed even in the dark or without looking.
The massive tension ring ensures the safety of even the most expensive accessories, without causing scratches or bruises. The position of the rotary lever is adjustable for left-hand or right-hand use, either by six camera slotted screws or by six Allen screws with a hexagonal wrench, depending on the model.
The Baader 2" ClickLock Eyepiece Clamp with Female M54x0.75 Threads is not just a clamping device, but a testament to comfort, precision, and stability. Its versatility allows it to be retrofitted on many telescopes, making it a valuable addition to your astronomy equipment.
