About Baader Planetarium 2" SCT Female to M48i Female Zero-Length Reducing Adapter

This adaptor will convert any 2" (SC) female thread into an M48 x 0.75 female thread without adding to/extending the optical path length. The adaptor was initially manufactured to adapt the Baader Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV onto any photographic M48 x 0.75 (2" filter-)thread (see animation below). This adaptor can also work as an expansion ring to convert a photographic M48-thread into a male 2" SC thread and is suitable for adaptation of any accessory with a male M48 connection thread, e.g. the Baader VariLock 20-29mm and VariLock 29-46mm clamps.
