Unlike the illusionary nature of its namesake, the Morpheus eyepiece set is very much real, offering a genuine 76-degree field of view. This expansive view immerses you in the cosmos, eliminating the need for eye-rolling. Its generous eye relief is ideal for observers who wear glasses, while its comfortable viewing behavior provides a "Spacewalk-feeling" typically only offered by eyepieces with a larger and inaccessible apparent field of view. The Morpheus eyepiece set ensures that your view of the universe is never distorted or fishbowl-like. The center contrast and brilliance rival those of the finest planetary eyepieces, and even with the fastest telescope optics, you'll enjoy sharp stars close to the field's outer edge. The craftsmanship of the Morpheus eyepiece set is as impressive as its optical design. It features the Phantom Coating Group, rare-earth glasses, sealed watertight housings, and blackened lens edges. The practical design focuses on minimal metal to reduce weight, making it ideal for bino-viewing. It also includes a photo-video thread and the all-new 1 1/4" and 2" "safety-kerfs" to prevent slipping. The Morpheus eyepiece series includes six fixed focal lengths: f = 4.5mm, 6.5mm, 9mm, 12.5mm, 14mm, 17.5mm. Each eyepiece offers full field sharpness, long eye relief, low distortion, immersive views, and optimized internal baffling. The Morpheus eyepiece set also includes two soft rubber dual-position foldable eyeguards, designed to provide optimal comfort and eye spacing for most users and eyeglass wearers. The eyepiece set also incorporates our new Slip-Protect Safety Kerfs in the 1 1/4" and 2" Barrels, providing additional grip and security. Like its Hyperion siblings, the Morpheus eyepiece set makes an excellent imaging projection optic. Each eyepiece includes a hidden M43 photo-video eye lens thread that allows for the use of our extensive range of Hyperion Digital T-Rings. These rings enable direct-thread attachment of virtually any imaging device, offering the ultimate in rigidity and close-coupling for minimal vignetting.
