About Baader Planetarium UFC Base
The UFC Base is also known as, and sometimes referred to, as the UFC filter chamber. The Base has a number of functions or purposes. It allows:
- The range of Baader UFC telescope-side adaptors and spacers to be attached allowing the UFC to be connected to a telescope.
- The Baader camera-side adaptors to be attached so that cameras can be connected to the filter system.
The filter slider, which holds your filters, to be easily inserted and removed, and also to be held securely when in place (thus allowing the filter to be used for its imaging or visual purpose).
Baader Planetarium UFC Base Features
- This Baader UFC Filter Chamber Base for 2", 50.4 mm, or 50x50 square filters offers 13 mm optical height.
- S70 dovetail ring clamp on the telescope side.
- UFC camera adapter mounting plate on the camera side.
- Serving as the foundation of Baader's Universal-Filter-Changer system, the UFC Base is needed at least one time as a chamber for the filter sliders/containers as well as to adapt telescope and camera adapters.
Warranty Information
This product has a limited warranty of 24 months for parts and 24 months for labor.
