Illustrator on the desktop
Gather feedback on specific artboards
You have more control over how you solicit feedback on your artwork. You can now share an artboard or a range of artboards for review. Curate your artboards before you send the review link to the stakeholders. If you reorder or delete artboards later, you can easily update the review link.
Experience improved accessibility with VoiceOver (macOS only)
The VoiceOver utility on macOS reads the names of the tools in the toolbar when you press the corresponding keyboard shortcuts, making the tools more accessible. VoiceOver also reads the names of artboards in Presentation Mode, making navigation easier.
Illustrator on the iPad
Improve productivity with enhanced touch shortcuts
Instead of pressing and holding touch modifiers to keep them selected, you can toggle and lock your primary or secondary touch modifiers and conveniently access alternate actions of a selected tool. Additionally, if you move and set your touch shortcut widget anywhere on your screen, the new location is saved, and you can access it in the next session.
Quickly save and rename the document
You can use the Save Now option from the title bar or press Cmd + S to manually save your Illustrator cloud document at any point. You can also use the title bar to modify your document's name and rename it.
Increase precision with snap-in gradients
When applying linear or radial gradients to your artwork, the gradient annotator snaps at every 45-degree angle to achieve precision in controlling colors and shades.
Control the default style with the keyboard shortcut
You can reset the Appearance settings of your artwork to the default style with the new keyboard shortcut. Any changes to fill, stroke, or gradients, press D to set the default style to a White fill and Black stroke of one point. However, the default style isn't applicable for Basic brushes.
