After using this battery in real world situations I dont think I can ever go back to the old way I used to power my cameras/monitors with. This battery is lightweight and depending on application can give you more than a full day worth of power. 
Running a Sony mirrorless with no external monitor gave me 13 hours of run time. While running my BMCC with a Video Assist Recorder cut that down to about 3-4 hours, still very respectable. 
I?ve been in touch with Anton Bauer and explained to them where this battery needs improving. This battery needs a better camera plate or more sturdier way to attach it to a camera. I think by adding another 1/4 20 screw on the bottom will insure that the battery and camera stay aligned. A dovetail could be an option. The little plastic camera plate that comes with it doesn?t inspire a lot of confidence, though it hasn?t come off yet, it still needs improvement. My only other want would be adding a lighted lcd for when filming in dark situations. 
All in all, I expect this battery to become the norm for small cameras moving forward. Being able to film with an unobstructed rear lcd is so refreshing, I dont feel like I need to add an external monitor for every shoot now, which makes the rig lighter. Hopefully the next version will have a more rugged appearance like the Digital Series Anton Bauer batteries have, with that said. I recommend you give it a try. If you dont already have a d tap charger, buy the kit version w/charger or just buy the battery and get the Kastar dtap charger, it works well with these batteries
