Nice Reader.

the build screams quality. it has some firmware updates which I guess only germane if you use angelbird CF express card as well. It has a mechanical switch in the back to toggle write protect. over time I forgot about it and I was like how come I can't write file to the card inside the reader from my computer. make sure it's off if you decide to manually put files to your card when connected. Otherwise it's safe to leave the write protect on. It comes with a couple of stick-on feet to create some friction when seated. It helps a bit. I don't have anything to test the speed but it doesn't seem slow to me. My mac recognizes it 100% plug and play when card inserted, there is no but or if.

Get the speed to match your fast-access memory cards

Great tool to have on your belt and close to your gear. This is designed to run as fast (if not faster) as your memory card can go. Would you want to be sitting there waiting for files to transfer -OR- just get it done in a flash to focus on the real creative work? I am considering buying a second one to keep in my laptop bag. Angelbird type 2 card reader is worth a good look.

This CFexpress Mk2 Type-B Card Reader is working as expected for me. If you are using Angelbird type B cards it makes the cards even better as you can set the card up for your camera. I would buy it again. And I am very happy with all my Angelbird products.
