The Acebil PE-82MX ENG 100 mm Ball Base Tripod With EH-80 Pan/Tilt Head is a lightweight tripod stand with a pan/tilt head designed to mount cameras weighing up to 40 lb (18 kg). A 2-stage design allows you to adjust the height of the tripod from 33.1 to 66.1" (84 to 168 cm). A middle spreader and rubber feet for the tripod legs provide enhanced stability.
The 2-stage design of the tripod is easy to set up and easy to pack. In addition, a middle spreader provides stability by holding the tripod legs firmly, so that you shoot blur-free videos. The Acebil EH-80 Pan/Tilt Head is designed to support a broad range of ENG digital camcorders weighing between 17.6 lb (8 kg) and 40 lb (18 kg). Suitable for use in professional broadcast production, the head offers a stable base when you swap between large batteries, small viewfinders and small LCD prompters. In addition, it includes a 100 mm half ball for secure tripod attachment.
Changing the camera position from tripod to handheld becomes easy with the slide plate system. Using a knob, you can decrease or increase the tension to effect continuous counterbalance and help the camera remain stationary at the desired angle of tilt.
The drag control system lets you adjust the amount of resistance during pan or tilt movement so that you have finer control over the shots. An illuminated bubble level helps you in getting the perfect alignment and placement for the camera.
